Responsibilities

Performing continuous monitoring at work site to ensure continuing conformance of field work force with all relevant safety, health and security requirements, programs and other existing pertinent policies

Assist Safety Supervisor in carrying out his duties and responsibilities and supervisory and for other functions on the project.

Assist Safety Supervisor in conducting full investigation of accident / incident, including Near-misses.

Determine probable causes, develop, circulate and enforce appropriate permanent Preventive Measures.

Carry out daily site surveys to ensure: Only safe work methods are in operation,Adequate fire and fall protection are in place, Adequate welfare and first aid facilities are properly maintained.Approved tools are being used and Sufficient Personal Protective Equipment provided and properly worn.

Closely monitor scaffold erection / dismantling work, permit-required confined space entries, crane work / lifting operations, hot work, equipment energization, tie-ins,and Similar hazardous activities.

Ensure that all relevant HSE requirements are complied with the Project requirement.check and ensure compliance of site work-force with the approved Safe Work Permit System on Site.

Participate at Corporate / Project-develped Safety Traiing / Incentive and Awareness programs and attend safety meetings with the client / other contractors, advise the Project Management thru the Safety Supervisor, as a result of field safety.

Monitoring Ways to improve existing work methods to better accident / Incident prevention.Identify and foresee safety hazards which may affect health.Welfare of site employees and their execution of work.Areas of concern at site where stricter control is required for an effective loss prevention & loss control.

Required changes, supplementary instructions and other safety aspects essential to improve the existing safety program.

Participating HSE Training, tool box talks. Implementing Environmental Regulations. Assisting in Preparing Daily, weekly & monthly safety Reports. Training for usage of fire extinguishing and basic fire fighting techniques. Regular inspections of the working area. Maintaining safety programs to implement HSE policies and procedures on the site. Revising the daily activities and their safe method of work to assure to total safety on

the site. Ensure that the Health & Safety precautions are constantly follows. Recommending disciplinary action to safety violations who unnecessarily expose

themselves or other persons to potential / physical hazard. Attending Periodic Meetings with the Client to promote safety measures to be taken. Conduct safety toolbox talk for the workers prior to start of the work activity and before

starting any new activity. Safety training and seminars explaining about hazards at construction work area.
