1. ITP Management

1.1 Click ITP Management

Notes:

To create, assign or manage an Inspection Test Plan, or ITP, click ITP Management in the Valve Manager menu bar

to open up the ITP management screen.


1.2 Click Create

Notes:

To create a new ITP, click the Create button.

1.3 Enter a name for ITP

Notes:


Enter the name of the new ITP in the ITP description field.

1.4 Enter a name for ITP

1.5 Click Add

Notes:

To generate the new ITP, click Add .


1.6 Enter Agency Information

Notes:

The system opens a new window wherein the ITP can be fully defined.

First, enter the information of the agencies that will be participating in the witness and inspection of the valves.



Notes:

Enter the name of the agency.

1.8 Enter Contact Information

Notes:


Enter the agency’s contact information.

1.9 Enter Required Notification Time

Notes:

Enter the required notification time required by the agency.


1.10 Enter Required Notification Time


Notes:

Do this for all participating agencies.






1.15 Select ITP Category

Notes:

On the menu to the right, select an applicable ITP category to begin specifying the required surveillance points.


1.16 Select QA/QC Activities

Notes:

In each category, select the appropriate QA/QC activities that apply.

1.17 Select QA/QC Activities


1.18 Enter Surveillance Percentage

Notes:

For each activity, enter the percentage of valves on the order that will receive surveillance.

1.19 Enter Surveillance Percentage


1.20 Specify Surveillance Type

Notes:

Then, for each agency, specify the type of surveillance that will take place on each item.

1.21 Specify Surveillance Type


1.22 Select from drop-down

Notes:

This can be selected from a drop-down menu.

1.23 Type a letter

Notes:


It can also be selected by typing the first letter of the required surveillance type in the field.

1.24 Type a letter

Notes:

Do the same from the remaining applicable activities as demonstrated in this example.


1.25 Click the cell

1.35 Select another ITP Category

Notes:

When finished specifying all the surveillance activities in the category, do the same for the remaining categories

listed on the side bar.

1.36 Select Surveillance Activities


Notes:

As before, select the appropriate surveillance activities and assign the surveillance parameters.
































1.58 Click Save

Notes:

Be sure to save your progress frequently.


1.59 Enter Information for Other ITP Options

Notes:

Continue defining the remainder of the ITP by selecting the appropriate surveillance points from each of the

remaining ITP categories.










1.66 Click Exit

Notes:

After saving your latest changes, Exit the screen by clicking Exit.


1.67 Export ITP

Notes:

After an ITP is created, it can be exported and imported for use in another record.

To export an ITP, select it from the ITP Selection menu of existing ITPs.

1.68 Click Export


Notes:

Click Export.

1.69 Name the file

Notes:

Give the exported file a name and save it in a desired location.

Performance!Nxt will default to the same folder for both importing and exporting ITP files.


1.70 Click Save

Notes:

Click Save.

1.71 Click Import

Notes:


To import a file, click Import.

1.72 Select the file to Import

Notes:

Select the file you want to import.


1.73 Click Open

Notes:

Click Open.

1.74 ITP is Available

Notes:


The ITP is now available in the ITP Selection menu.

1.75 Click the ITP Assignment tab

Notes:

To apply an ITP to a specific valve, or set of valves, click the ITP Assignments tab.


1.76 Select the ITP and Select Valve Tags

Notes:

Select the applicable ITP and mark the boxes next to the valve tags to which the ITP will be assigned.

1.77 Select Valve Tags


1.78 Click Apply

Notes:

To apply the ITP to the selected valve, or valves, click Apply.

1.79 Click OK

Notes:


When the ITP has been successfully applied, the ITP number will be referenced on the tag line under the ITP Name

column.

Click OK.
