Available in four models offering flow rates ranging from 5l/h to 500l/h and suitable for pressures up to 20 bar, the ProCam Smart provides end-users with all the proven benefits of Bran + Luebbe metering/dosing technology but with the added attraction of a low initial investment cost. Designed for a wide range of metering duties including pH control, flocculation and fluoridation the ProCam Smart uses standard com- ponents throughout. For processing and treatment plants where a number of these pumps are in operation, this means potential savings can be made on stockholding and maintenance. The ProCam Smart is a hermetically closed pump containing a mechanically operated PTFE double diaphragm arrangement, the performance status of which can be monitored. So, for all those duties where leakage cannot be tolerated for health and safety reasons, or product loss needs to be minimised in order to optimise material usage, the ProCam Smart fits the bill. Gardner Denver Thomas (Germany) has extended its product line of linear compressors with the high performing LW range. These products offer up to 245 l/min at a working point of 200 mbar or 2m water column. Both new diaphragm compressors of the model series LW contain two linear drive units, each with 4 pump heads. This method of construction reduces the load on each head and hence ensures trouble-free operation. These linear diaphragm pumps have very low noise and vibration levels and offer excellent efficiency and extremely long life. On the average the first service is not necessary before 18.000 hours or 36 months of operating. A detailed service manual supplied with each pump makes it easier to accomplish the required maintenance. With a power consumption of less than 1 Watt per air litre at the operating point these pumps are economic to operate and contribute to a significant lower running costs. As an example the LW 200 has a power consumption of only 190 Watts whilst delivering 200 l/min against a 2m water column. Energy Saving Aeration Compressors for Small Sewage Systems Tsurumi Pumps Buys French Dealership In a brand new venture, Tsurumi GmbH (Germany), has agreed to buy one of its own dealer partners – the successful French pump specialists, CE2A. This is the first time that Tsurumi have considered acquiring one of its own dealerships in Europe but this opportunity was too good to ignore explains Daniel Weippert, Managing Director of Tsurumi (Europe) GmbH: “This move is a challenging one for us, but one that we are very much looking forward to,” says Mr. Weippert. “France is one of our most important markets and the largest geographical territory in Western Europe. This will be the first time we have decided to operate directly outside of the German-speaking regions but it offers us a unique chance to work closer to our customers,” he adds. MZT Pumpi (Macedonia) has produced and delivered 4 pump units to the VATVEDT Technology AS – Sarbsborg, Norway for the needs of its client NewCo Ferronickeli – Kosovo. The main objective of the project was equipping of the gas cleaning plant in NewCo Ferronickeli – Kosovo with new high pressure pumps which would enable more effective and trouble-free operation of the plant. Specially designed Multistage Centrifugal Pumps – type 33 DMSD 150-11 for NewCo Ferronickeli financed by VATVEDT Technology AS have the following characteristics: Q=250m3/h, H=330m. The motor power of pump units is 355 kW/1450 rpm/50Hz/380V and the shaft sealing is Mechanical seal. The advantages of this special arrangement of the multistage centrifugal pumps are: High pressure, up to 330m; Suction and discharge flanges can be rotated for 90o to conform with the pipeline; The balancing of the axial thrust was arranged with back to back impellers design. Delivery of High Pressure Pumps for Gas Cleaning Plant Rovatti Pumps: Complete Range of Pumps for Waste Water Treatment Plants Rovatti Pompe (Italy) offers a complete range of submersible waste water pumps engineered to give an efficient, reliable and trouble-free operating over long duty periods. Available with channel and vortex impellers the Rovatti production range is suitable for heavy duty applications such as raw waste water with solids and fibres, sludge and industrial effluent handling. The extremely high pump efficiency results in low power consumption so that total energy costs will be dramatically reduced. The high-free passage results in increased non-clogging capability. The vertical mounting design allows easier inspection, cleaning and main- tenance. The pump body can be detached without removing the impeller from the motor unit. The Rovatti electric submersible waste water pumps have a robust construction and a combination of design solutions to further reduce the risk of clogging and maintain pumping efficiency, even in worst conditions. The double mechanical seal with oil chamber infiltration probe and the three thermal contacts on windings assure a complete motor protection. The impeller relief grooves combined with the pump body design create an efficient cleaning system for the silicon carbide mechanical seal. These all important features meet the modern Life Cycle Cost requirements. With over 50 years of experience, 4500 products and a world- wide presence, Rovatti guarantees reliable and innovative solutions. Rovatti pumps can always offer high standard of performance, reliability and much more added value.
