Sex and God is a lyrical, funny and touching new play by Linda McLean, who has quietly emerged as one of Scotlands top womens playwrights (The Scotsman) with a series of distinctive and acclaimed plays for Magnetic North, the Traverse, and Paines Plough, winning two Fringe Firsts and a Herald Angel. Four monologues on faith, lust and family are woven together to tell the stories of Lizzie, Jane, Sally and Fiona each from a different period of the twentieth century. The womens experiences of family, religion and ambition are shaped by those around them and the times they live in. Sex and God is the latest production from Magnetic North, whose highly acclaimed previous work includes the beautiful Walden and the hysterical Pass the Spoon. A co-production with Platform www.magneticnorth.org.uk

Later Aleksander held concerts in Poland, Germany, Italy, France, Greece, the Netherlands, USA and Great Britain. In 2006 he left Poland for Scotland. For the first few months he was living on different part-time jobs. Only in 2007 was his musical talent discovered at Glasgow University, where at that time Aleksander was working as a cleaner. The story quickly became famous among worlds media. His story is so famous it has been translated into 30 different languages.
