Modification: Modify Paragraph B by deleting the following:

“ 4. Touch up of existing walls. (Match existing paint.) 5. Touch up of existing structural steel. (Match existing paint.)”

And replacing with the following:

“ 4. Existing masonry walls.

5. Existing structural steel and metal ceiling.”

Clarification: Walls, ceiling, and structural steel inside the pump station are to be repainted entirely. Existing paint shall be removed and surfaces shall be cleaned and prepared as required by Section 09905.

B. Reference: Page 09905-11 PROTECTIVE COATINGS PAINT SCHEDULE

and applied in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. Install two (2) heavy brush coats of block filler to surfaces and allow to dry. Epoxy coating shall dry to a high gloss finish.

2 P1 – If applicable, allow masonry to dry for at least 30 days. Remove dirt, loose or excess mortar, laitance, efflorescence and dry thoroughly. Patch defects as necessary with latex concrete mix. P2 - Remove efflorescence by brushing and washing with concrete etch. Treat porous brick with concrete and block sealer or masonry conditioner. Masonry surfaces treated with curing compounds or waterproofing treatments must have the compounds removed.

3 Second coat of block filler may not be required for existing walls if approved by Owner

or Engineer.

A1-4 SECTION 11419 – HORIZONTAL CENTRIFUGAL PUMPING UNITS Reference: EXHIBIT A, SUBMITTAL DATA SHEET Clarification: Exhibit A is to be submitted with the shop drawings for the horizontal pumping units. Replace the first sentence with the following sentence: “Submit the following data with the Shop Drawings for the Horizontal Pumping Units.” Although the pump data is not required for the bid opening, the pump manufacturer must be designated on the Bid Form (00300-2).

A1-6 SECTION 16900 – INSTRUMENTATION A. Reference page 16900-1, Paragraph 1.01.E. Addition: Add the following to the end of paragraph 1.01.E:

“1. The SCADA Contractor (Richardson Logic Control, Shawn McPeak) will be a Subcontractor to the Contractor and will provide the following services associated with the SCADA system:

a. Labor and material for RTU and enclosure. b. Labor to program RTU. c. Labor and material for communications between RTU and the City of Weatherford

monitoring locations. d. Labor and Termination of cables at RTU. e. Labor and Material including mounting hardware, grounding kit, coaxial cable,

terminations for using the existing radio. f. Labor and Material to remove the existing RTU and enclosure.

2. The Contractor shall be responsible for all other materials and labor to make a complete

and working system. Contractor’s work will include, but not be limited to: a. Labor and material for field devices. b. Labor and material to mount RTU and enclosure in the field. c. Labor and material to pull cables into RTU enclosure for termination by SCADA

Contractor. Allow cables to extend 6’ into enclosure for routing and termination inside the enclosure.

d. Labor and material for a Low Level Lockout Relay Panel.”

B. Reference page 16900-10, Paragraph 2.05. Modification: Modify title of Paragraph 2.05 to read as follows: “ENCLOSURES”

C. Reference page 16900-10, Paragraph 2.05.A.

Modification: Modify the first sentence in the paragraph to read as follows: “Housings: Each PLC with its UPS unit shall be housed in a separate free-standing or wall mounted NEMA 4X stainless steel enclosures, and the LOW LEVEL LOCKUT RELAY PANEL shall be housed in a wall mounted NEMA 4X stainless steel enclosure.”

All buried piping shall have mechanical joints. Contractor shall verify type of existing joint where new pipe or valves will tie into existing pipe prior to manufacturing adjoining pipe or valves. Connections between new pipe or valves and existing pipe shall be restrained as required by Specification Section 15062 DUCTILE IRON PIPE AND FITTINGS.”

A1-13 SHEET E-3, SEQ. 19 A. Clarification: The location of the existing Service Entrance Disconnect is located

approximately 36” west of where indicated on the drawing. A1-14 SHEET E-4, SEQ. 20

A. Modification: Modify the location of the Service Entrance Rated Switch a minimum of 54” east along the building wall to avoid the existing service entrance disconnect located along that same wall. The Contractor shall field verify the exact location of existing service entrance disconnect. Extend all related conductors and conduit to the modified location for the Service Entrance Rated Switch.

B. Addition: Add a Low Level Lockout Relay Panel and locate next to the RTU enclosure.

Provide 2 #12, #12, ¾”C. from circuit LA-8 to Low Level Lockout Relay Panel. Provide 2 #14, #14G., ¾”C. from the Relay Panel to the RTU. Provide 4 #14, #14G., ¾”C. (2 #14 Spare) from the Relay Panel to each motor starter (Typ. of 3) located in MCC-1.

Add a digital signal from the RUN status indication lights (in the MCC) to an indication RUN STATUS light at the OWS. Modify the “Manual/Auto” hand switch at the OWS to read “START”. Modify the “Run” hand switch at the OWS to read “STOP”. Add a digital signal from the STOP hand switch (at the OWS) to the pump logic at the MCC. Remove the text “FROM LOOP 400” and the dashed arrow associated with it. Modify the text “From Existing Tank Low Level Lockout” to read “From Low Level Lockout Relay Panel”.
