Initially, when company VGCE was formed, it was primarily
providing anti-corrosion treatments and protection services only.
However, there was also a need in providing engineered solutions to
support the anti-corrosion aspect of the business. VGCE’s clients
are extremely satisfi ed with the added expertise and are
frequently requiring FEDS - VGCE’s Services.
VGCE a Vietnam based company has done projects as far afi eld as
Egypt, Ghana, India and of course South East Asia. With the
increasing demand for more support services throughout the world,
VGCE proudly expanded their base to Qatar under the fl agship of
FEDS ENGINEERING W.L.L.
A BRIEF HISTORY BEHIND OUR ROOTS AND HERITAGE GCE Malaysia and
Nautika-GCE (NGCE) Brunei was established in 1993. Both companies
carried out services throughout South East Asia providing
comprehensive NDT Inspections, Scaffolding, IRATA Rope Access,
Steel Replacement, Blasting and Painting, Coating Application

and Repair Maintenance Solutions based on the application in
range of High Technology Coatings and Composites in Power Stations,
Water Treatment Plants, Chemical Plants, Platforms, FPSO’s and
Offshore Drilling Rigs to name a few. Almost 10 years later, GCE
expanded once again and established Vietnam GloCoating Engineering
(VGCE), a separate entity based in Vung Tau, Vietnam in 2002 as a
“Representative Offi ce”. Subsequently, the “Representative Offi
ce” was granted an Operating License in April 2007 and became VGCE
head offi ce.
The VGCE head offi ce in Vung Tau houses their HSE, Material,
Accounting, Procurement and Sale departments. Initially, VGCE
conducted almost all their services onsite at their clients
location but with the rapid growing demand for specialized projects
to be carried out in-house, VGCE opened up their Workshop
facilities also in Vung Tau, Vietnam. It was then that VGCE’s
Fabrication, Engineering, Design Services department was formed
proving to be a department worthy of its own division with the
establishment of FEDS - VGCE. For further, please visit

Recycled glass media EVO - BLAST is an engineered abrasive
blasting media manufactured from 100% Recycled Bottle Glass.
Crushed glass is an excellent general purpose abrasive and is
approved for use in numerous industrial sectors and military
branches. EVO-BLAST works great in both slurry-systems and
dry-blast equipment. This recycled glass blasting media eliminates
the health risk of airborne carcinogens. It is non-hazardous,
non-toxic and completely inert and is safe to use around water.
Glass dust is classifi ed by OSHA/NIOSH as only “nuisance” dust
because it contains less than 1% free silica. Crushed glass is also
virtually free of any of the OSHA identifi ed Heavy/Toxic Metals
associated with some slags and some other mineral abrasives.
Lastly, since glass is translucent, visibility and productivity are
signifi cantly improved when compared to a blast environment using
