Course Description:This course is designed to provide the classroom

educational foundation for facilitators of continuous improvement events and projects. Combined with hands-

on experience as participants and leaders of event and project teams, this training provides support for

deployment of large-scale lean transformation. Over the course of a week, participants will be exposed to the various tools they will apply as facilitators, including a

number of soft skills.

students, and sponsors) of the course. As these materials include various levels of intellectual property ownership, care must be taken to avoid any infringements.

Permission has been given for these materials to be used in accordance with intended use by LAI Members. LAI permits Members internal, non-commercial use, solely within the Member’s own organization and not for the purpose of deriving any commercial benefit therefrom. Revision Information

Revision 6/25/2004These materials were revised after training was

delivered at Arnold Engineering Development Center (AEDC), Arnold AFB. The persons responsible for the updates were part of the team who took the lessons learned from Hill AFB, Ogden, UT, and Arnold AFB,

Manchester, TN. The revision team consisted of Colonel Maquet, Hill AFB; Ida Gall, Pratt & Whitney; Carol Smith, Rolls

Royce; and Deb Secor, Rockwell Collins, with governance from Terry Bryan, LAI Co-Director.
