Target Group: BSS Engineering Support, Network SurveillancePersonnel, NOC Configuration Personnel.
Course Objectives: At the end of the course the participant will be able to:

• Describe the passage of a circuit and a packetswitched call through the BSS.
• Perform basic TCSM2 operation
• Explain NOKIA Base Station solutions
• Describes the functions of the BSC, its capacityand configuration.
• Describe the BSS Radio Network Object Model
• Identify and describe the Radio Networkparameters
• Modify and interrogate the radio network by MML,including adjacent cells
• Describe the concepts of RNW configurationmanagement and the representation of radionetwork parameters in the NOKIA networkmanagement system NetAct
