Students are required to email Andrew Francis Swann at [email protected] in advance to ascertain his/her eligibility to read courses offered by Department of Mathematics. Students have to choose modules from the equivalent of their home faculty and at most from two departments within the same faculty in Aarhus. Science (no Faculty of Health Sciences), Law and Social Sciences have courses taught in English. Please see http://kursuskatalog.au.dk/en/ for details. The Institute of Language, Literature and Culture is in a different campus-Herning and offers undergraduate courses taught in English. IRO Student Remarks : 1) As exchange with UC is on U-wide system, all places allocated in OPAS as quarter: most UC campuses operate on quarter system. If students allocated to UC Berkeley or UC Merced, they will be on exchange for full semester: UCB and UCM operate on semester system; other 8 campuses for exchange work on quarter system. Students should be aware they may only be on exchange at UC for one quarter, depending on which campus UC allocate them to. It is up to students to find out if their module/credit requirements allow them to do an exchange to UC given they may be on the exchange for just one quarter. Spring as a starting term is only an option for semester campuses, that is UCB and UCM. Spring is not an option at the UC campuses that operate on a quarter system. Students are not allowed to go for more than one quarter if placed at a quarter system campus. Students cannot extend. 2) Placement is NOT GUARANTEED - students may be re-directed to other UC Campuses despite what they put on their application form. Students must submit study plans for 3 UC campuses together with UC application forms. There is a chance that if students are admitted to UC that they may be placed at a campus not on their application. Once allocation has been done by UC it is not possible to change the campus allocation. 3) In July 2014 UC advised: UC Majors The following engineering majors are closed and will not be available to reciprocity students in 2014

IRO Student Remarks : 1) University of Notre Dame (UND) is a new partner, the exchange commenced in AY 14/15. 2) Course information: http://registrar.nd.edu/students/class_search.php 3) Business classes are not available for incoming exchange students. Incoming Architecture students may need to submit a portfolio. 4) As of October 2014, ND have advised partner universities to discourage exchange applications to ND within the engineering disciplines of Computer Science Engineering (CSE) and Aero/Mechanical Engineering (AME). The remaining disciplines in Engineering (electrical, chemical, etc.) can remain as open and available, but ND¿s classes in CSE and AME are no longer open to exchange students. 5) Note, ND may ask for TOEFL/IELTS from some NUS students, though this will be decided on a case by case basis. Students are more likely to require this if they are not from an English speaking background.
