Maximum of two Business courses may be taken per semester. 2) Students educated entirely in the Singaporean secondary school system are not required to show proof of English proficiency. The department of Architecture at ETH Zurich can only accept a maximum of 5 semester places from NUS per year. Suitable for students from the following faculties: FOE, FOS, SOC, FASS, SDE For more information on courses, please refer to www.courses.ethz.ch Important: Faculties are urged to select students with at least moderate (preferably good) grades, as ETH Zurich reserves the right to reject NUS students that they feel will be unable to handle the rigours of the academic programmes at their institution. This arose from several cases where NUS students failed classes and we would like to avoid having such a situation again. Students that are clearly weaker from an academic standpoint should NOT be allocated an exchange place in ETH Zurich. In order to be accepted as incoming student in the department of Mathematics (D-MATH) at ETH Zurich, a student must be enrolled for a degree in mathematics in his/her home university. No enrollment possible in the D-MTEC (department of Management, Technology and Economics and department of Social Sciences and Humanity (D-GESS), only as electives (max. 1/3 of courses). Please note that the department of Biosystems Science and Engineering (D-BSSE) is located in Basel, a city approximately 100 km away from Zurich, therefore the services of the Student Exchange Office might be slightly limited. (2) China¿s central government has invested heavily in Chengdu to shape it into the regional centre, establishing the Chengdu High-Tech Development Zone, the Chengdu Economic and Technological Development Zone as well as the self-sustainable Chengdu-Tianfu New Area. (3) SoC students can choose subjects offered by College of Software Engineering whereas SDE students can choose subjects offered by College of Architecture and Environment. **Places to be confirmed by York** 1) Decreased numbers due to imbalance and limited interest of York students. Their Science department is starting to promote exchange more which should increase their numbers. 2) Law and BIZ have separate agreements. 3) Students on U-wide exchange cannot take Law and Biz courses from Osgoode and Schulich. 4) Fine arts courses usually have auditions the previous semester, hence students will not be accepted unless they go for a year. 5) There are 2 campuses - Keele and Glendon. Students should mainly take courses from the Keele campus. If they wish to take courses from the Glendon campus, they should not schedule them on the same day as the Keele campus courses because of travel time needed. 6) Housing Note: Students younger than 21 should apply for Undergraduate residences and if interested, Global House by filling out the Global House Supplemental Questionnaire. Students 21 and older should apply for York Apartments (Graduate Housing) and are NOT eligible for Global House.

(1) Zhejiang University (ZJU) is a key comprehensive university whose fields of study cover philosophy, literature, history, education, science, economics, law, management, engineering, agriculture, medicine and etc. Under its administration there are 14 State Key (specialized) Laboratories, 1 national Engineering Laboratory, 2 National Engineering Research Centers and 3 National Engineering Technology Centers. Besides, it has set up 14 (21) primary (secondary) Disciplines for National Leading Academic Disciplines, and 47 post-doctor stations. (3) FASS and BIZ students can consider modules offered by the School of Economics, School of International Studies, School of Humanities (include majors in history, journalism, communication studies, philosophy, sociology) and School of Management. (4) Restriction : exchange student should have basic knowledge or record of course learning for some advanced-level courses.
