StephenAlltopenjoysamulti-facetedcareerasaconductoroforchestralandchoralensemblesandasakeyboardsoloist.AsmusicdirectoroftheApolloChorusofChicago,Mr.AlltophasledthechorusattheRaviniaFestivalandpreparedthemforRaviniaappearanceswiththeChicagoSymphonyOrchestra,theLondonPhilharmonic,andtheOprahWinfreyShow.Mr.AlltopismusicdirectoroftheElmhurstSymphonyOrchestraandhasservedontheconductingfacultyatNorthwesternUniversitysince1992.Hehasworkedwithmanyoftoday’sleadingcomposersandmadehisCarnegieHalldebutconductingthemusicofEricWhitacre.
