Greetings & Blessings from Higher Self Hello from sunny Tucson!  We are still in Tucson attending the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show, the largest in the world.exciting to be here and to see (and feel the energy of) all the stones and crystals.  We’ve found some great new items and old favorites that we’ve been out of for a while as well as some new unique items. Hopefully you’ve had a chance to check out the Facebook postings of some of our finds so far.  Five days in and we haven’t gotten through a third of the show yet! February…. That time of year where love is in the air and we celebrate our relationships.  This month is packed with classes for fun and for development – most with a love theme.Dharmani, will be in town to share her knowledge of Ayurvedic practices and how you can bring them into your life.some interesting material for February and Jo will be teaching Reiki 1 & 2 training – a life changing experience. In honor of Valentine’s Day, we are offering special sessions such as couples’ Reiki and couples’ Astrology Readings. Finally, Mike will be teaching a new aromatherapy class that tackles the issue of ingesting oils.note, starting in March we will be moving our Reiki Share to the 2nd Wednesday of the month and Journey Circle to the 4th Wednesday of the month.  This will allow Jeff and Jo to get a much needed day off each week. Special: February 1st until Valentine’s Day, we will be giving 14% off all Sterling Silver and Fine Jewelry over $50 in value. We look forward to seeing everyone this month.well….. Your Higher Self Crew - Jeff, Jo, Zach, Mike, Kafi, Chelsea, and Madieplus all of our wonderful readers.

Higher Self MusingsYou’re Window It’s all about perspective sometimes, at least that’s what we are suggesting this month.  As we look around at the world, our country, our community, and our family, we can easily get caught up in what we “see”, and getting caught up in that egocentric view impacts us emotionally, physically, and spiritually.  As we are shown bits and pieces of the lessons we came here to learn, we can often lose focus of the bigger picture, that which is truly for our highest good.  We (Jeff and Jo) were reminded of this on our drive down to Tucson when we saw this beautiful sandstone arch (pictured) as we rounded a corner.  It was a beautiful surprise in an otherwise monotonous area.  At first glance, we could see through the arch and the beauty that lay behind it, and it gave us one view of the world to ponder – more of the monotony.  When we gazed at the view in its wholeness, we could see a much grander picture, as if looking through a

different window, a different lens.  This perspective showed us the beauty that is everywhere if we widen our gaze (or viewpoint, or filter…).  So perhaps we can use this analogy to inquire about the limiting view of the “arch window” we may be using in our daily lives, perhaps one that may be limiting us from blossoming into all we were meant to be, and do, and become.  The gecko sees the arch window and believes that is all there is.  The eagle high above can see the divine order of things and remains calm and sure. So this month as it feels like the darkness of the winter and February is about to overcome you, look from that higher perspective, through the arch and beyond.  Perhaps that window you are currently looking out of is limiting.  Soar to new heights and embrace who you are meant to be and the shadows will rescind, brightening your day and your soul. Blessings and Be well !!  Jeff & Jo

The Proper Order of Thingsby Norma Hall How can it be February already. That’s a common phrase for many of us every month, but Imbolc already? It’s time for a joyous celebration of the divine Feminine, time for lighting the lights and celebrating the return

of the green and growing things. I always enjoy this time of magic and music and dancing. And this day, this month, this moment; I am quiet. Not quiet and peaceful, but quiet and empty. So this is what so many people experience in the depths of the winter and in the darkest hours before the light. So this is how that feels. And yet Raymond the cat; still keen to jump on my lap each morning after we light the candles, has to head-butt my hand to get things moving in the proper order of things. Each month I try to open a little window to our souls which lets the light flood in and, while wrapped in the reality of this time and age, still rejoice in the goodness and mercy of people. I am aware of well-proven paths to both tranquility and vigor. I like to make a little noise. While I realize, as my deeply spiritual friends remind me, all is well and happening in theorder in which it was intended, at this time and space of Mother Earth, it still grieves me to look at the way we continue to treat Her as we head into another time of renewal and celebration. All does not feel well.How can I help Her? And how can I continue to be a peaceful Grammy who is thrilled beyond words when one of the “babies” unrolls words unfamiliar to me; of math and flight and a personal language which specializes in baby-dolls and balloons. How can I help me? I think I’ll go outside barefoot and wake up. Not to freeze my feet, just to really focus my attention. All is well. As it has always been well. I can find the light in my heart, and the green growing things in my vision. I can light one little candle, trite or not, and believe it helps to heal theworld. It is the proper order of things to change and grow. It’s time for the return of my spirit and of yours as well. The sacred fire of the Mother will be fine.

Shakti Women's Spirituality

Study GroupFriday, February 2nd

6:00 – 7:30pm with Rodasi Campbell

 In these women's spirituality classes, women will experience circling with other women in sisterhood, sharing in ritual, ceremony and being lavished in the "beauty way." She will experience deep, vulnerable sharing and hold space for the same. There will be interesting teachings on Moonlore, Herblore, Herstory & the Rise of the Divine Feminine. This is primarily an experiential class, however, so all teaching will be woven into the experiences of guided journeying, sacred empowerment acts, talking stick and rites of passage. We will follow the wheel of the year, the moon, and the call of the spirit from month to month. Stay tuned for each month's topic. Each class will be a $15 love donation with a sliding scale option.
