Associate

An Associate Consultant is an individual with an academic professional qualification and with at least 3 years of industry or functional skills in a specific application area. They are to be fully trained in a SAP product before embarking on any SAP project. They are expected to participate as a team member in a consulting project and would participate in the discussions of process design, configuration per directions given by the team leader, and provide support in documentation, system testing and authorizations. Works on one engagement at a time.

Consultant

A Consultant is an individual with an academic professional qualification and with at least 4 years of industry or functional skills in specific application area. Consultants gather facts, analyze the client’s business processes and draw conclusions. The Consultant prepares the design of the solution and demonstrates the design to support the findings and conclusions. Contributes by analyzing client’s business processes and performs configuration work and assists clients in testing cycles. Works on one engagement at a time.

Senior Consultant

A Senior Consultant is an individual with an academic professional qualification and with at least 6 years of industry or functional skills. Senior Consultant plays a key role on the project team; running small projects, managing portions of a large project, driving the analysis, process finalization, while resolving process and technical issues. The Senior Consultant performs the role of a Team Lead and ensures high quality service. The Senior Consultant will be involved in preparing the detailed level plan for his/her functional area. Senior Consultants are expected to build strong relationships and solid reputations within the industry and market they serve. Works on more than one engagement at a time.

Principal Consultant

A Principal Consultant is an individual with an academic professional qualification and with at least 6 years of industry or functional or IT skills. The Principal Consultant is an authority in a SAP specific functional area, leads new service offerings and has a proven track record in project deliveries and/or account management in a complex vendor environment. The Principal Consultant is used to complex, long-term work (several months) with one customer. He creates or creates & leads a new project in a new service line and is able to develop a solution strategy for client’s business needs with SAP offerings. Has the capacity to interact with SAP technical staff, clients and partners. Project Management skills are desirable. Works on more than one engagement at a time.

Program/Project Management

A Manager is responsible for the overall management of standard implementation and industry solution projects throughout the lifecycle from project initiation to go-live and support. Primary responsibilities include (together with the customer’s project manager) conceptualizing project plans, setting up the project organization and ensuring the right staffing level. The Project Manager is the operational manager for consultants and IT specialists within the scope of the project and is responsible for the budget. He or she liaises with the customer with reference to the technical, functional and organizational aspects of assignments and reports periodically both internally and externally on project progress.
