Work Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Position Closes: Open until Filled Primary Function: Develop DOD, particularly Navy, formatted curricula deliverables for online, face-to- face, and blended learning environments. Essential Responsibilities: 1. Work with a team to develop online, face to face and blended learning instructional material using the Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluation (ADDIE) model. 2. Create and format both online (e-learning) and hardcopy courseware deliverables. 3. Maintain, update and track all courseware deliverables as necessary as program guidelines are updated or adjusted. 4. Communicate with both internal and external customers in an effective manner. 5. Interact with customers and clients on a daily basis and troubleshoot potential problems as necessary. 6. Work as a member of a team to ensure the goals and deadlines of the project are met in a timely manner. 7. Must be able to communicate effectively in the English language. 8. Perform other duties as assigned. Work Conditions: Employee will be working within an office environment. Employee may be expected to travel on occasion to locations where specific PPE or attire is necessary. Job Requirements: Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree with course work in instructional technology or instructional design or equivalent. Experience may be substituted for degree. Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite particularly Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint. Skills with web technologies such as HTML, XHTML and CSS highly desirable. Skills with e-learning authoring tools highly desirable. Experience with US Navy training and development curriculum preferred. 2-4 years’ experience working in developing courseware. 1-2 years’ experience providing training and interfacing with trainers. Experience working as a Government Contractor or with contracts, DON experience preferred. US Citizenship.
