ExhibitAn exhibit is a visual representation of your research and interpretation of your topic’s significance in history. The analysis and interpretation of your topic must be clear and evident to the viewer. Labels and captions should be used creatively with visual images and objects to enhance the message of your exhibit.

NHD Project GuidelinesWording:

1. A 500-word limit applies to all student-composed text that appears on, or as part of, an exhibit entry.

3. Brief factual credits of the sources of illustrations or quotations included on the exhibit do not count toward the 500-word limit. A date (January 1, 1903) counts as one word.

4. Word minimum to receive credit- 300 words. All words must be your own, unless you are using quotes. Quote maximum of 50 words.

5. All quotes from written sources must be credited on the exhibit.6. All visual sources (e.g., photographs, paintings, charts, and

graphs, etc.) must be credited on the exhibit and fully cited in the annotated bibliography.

Pictures:1. A minimum of 10 pictures must be included on the board.2. Pictures must be clear and include a caption.3. Pictures must be fully cited in the annotated bibliography.4. Both primary and secondary source pictures may be used

how the topic related to the NHD Theme (Conflict and Compromise).

2. You will be allowed five minutes to set up and five minutes to remove any props needed for your performance.
