DaliaThe yarn is made from 100% loycell. Lyocell is made from an artificial fiber, woodpulp. This is a very environmentally friendly process as opposed to viscose. The yarn is soft but sturdy in structure.

Method This bolero is crocheted into one big piece. A square consists of 3 chainstitches, a cluster of 4 double crochet and a slipstitch to finish the cluster, 1 chainstitch and a single crochet to attach the square to the square of the previous row. There is also a diagram included for further pattern explanation.

After you have reached the right height of your piece, fold the piece vertically and sew the sides, to form small sleeves.

PatternStart with chaining 131 chainstitches.

Row 1: 1 single crochet in de seconde chainstitch of the previous row. 3 chainstitches (counts as one double crochet). In the third 1 unfinished double crochet, in the fourth, 1 unfinished double crochet, in the fifth 1 double crochet, in de sixth also 1 unfinished double crochet. Close with 1 slipstitch, chain one, and 1 single crochet in the seventh stitch. You have finished one square.

To continue, chain 3 (on top of the single crochet in the seventh stitch of the previous row), in the 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th stitch you continue to crochet 1 unfinished double crochet (this counts as one cluster). Finish the cluster with 1 slip stitch, chain 1 and secure the square in

the 12th stitch. Keep repeating this, till the end of the row and finish with 1 single crochet in the last stitch.

Row 2: Chain 4, secure with 1 single crochet on top of the cluster of the previous row. Chain 3 and crochet in to the chaining 3 of the previous row. Do not finish the double crochet and double crochet 3 more unfinished double crochet, secure the cluster with one slip stitch, chain 1 more and secure with 1 single crochet on top of the cluster of the previous row. Keep repeating this pattern until you reach the end of the row and finish with 1 double crochet in the last stitch.

Repeat row 1 and 2 until you have reached the right height. This pattern has a certain height of 40 cm. Fold the piece vertically and sew about 14 cm on both sides. As you can see on the pictures here on the left.
