ITM POLAND INNOVATIONS-TECHNOLOGIES-MACHINES

3D SOLUTIONS – TRADE FAIR OF 3D PRINTING AND SCANNING

The third edition of 3D Solutions is a superb project concentrating on business and information and an excellent opportunity for manufacturers, distributors and potential contractors to enter into commercial contracts. A great advantage of the Fair is that it gives an opportunity to reach professional and individual customers and helps the world of science and business get together in one place. Participation in the Poznań event provides chances to promote the latest technological solutions and innovative products, and makes it possible to exchange creative ideas and experiences.

MODERNLOG – TRADE FAIR OF LOGISTICS, TRANSPORT AND STORAGE

MODERNLOG is a step towards industrial logistics. Concepts of Industry 4.0 along with innovative logistics result in the creation of modern production and service facilities. Organizing MODERNLOG alongside ITM Poland, which is the largest exhibition event of the industrial sector in Central and Eastern Europe, allows the exhibitors to showcase their products and capabilities in the field of logistics, transport and storage in full swing. The co-existence of both the events in one place and at the same time will create a unique platform for sharing knowledge and experience.

FOCAST

The FOCAST Forum is a unique event Poland-wise addressed to foundries, manufacturers of machinery and equipment, suppliers of components, service providers and science representatives. Among the topics covered by the program are iron, steel and non-ferrous metal alloys casts, forgings, the design and manufacture of machines, equipment and entire lines for the foundry industry, molding materials, heat treatment of castings, furnaces, computer support in the design of castings, control and regulation technology, and artistic castings.

An integral part of the FOCAST Forum is a special space dedicated to foundries - the "Foundry Engineering" Thematic Park, organized by the Polish Foundry Technical Association.

The Foundry Forum will be complemented by two days of matchmaking meetings - ITM Focast Meetings 2018 - aimed at finding potential business partners (registration through the international B2Match platform applies).

2018 MTP GOLD MEDAL

This year, 20 products were awarded with the Gold Medal as part of the ITM Poland trade fair, including one in the category of Science for the Economy. Look for them at specially marked stands!

PREMIERE CLUB

This year, the ITM Poland trade fair will continue the Premier Club - i.e. absolutely new products not available on the Polish market so far, which will be available for the first time at ITM Poland! 14 premiere releases will be marked with special stickers!

BRAND NEW RELEASES

New products are the greatest attraction for the visitors coming to the fair. Exhibitors, on the other hand, consider the fair to be an excellent opportunity to promote their company offering and to raise consumer awareness. Visitors to this year's edition of ITM Poland will have an opportunity to see over 30 new products!

TWO THEMATIC PATHS FOR VISITING THE FAIR – FOLLOW THE GUIDE WHEN VISITING

Dedicated routes for visiting companies dealing with 3D printing in industry, equipped with hardware, technological solutions and software, and operating in accordance with the idea of Industry 4.0 will be a new feature of this year's edition of ITM Poland, MODERNLOG, 3D Solutions and FOCAST. EVENTS

SKILLS TESTING GROUND – LIVE SHOWS OF VARNISHING SYSTEMS

The varnishing show is a professionally designed and arranged gathering of surface treatment specialists, which allows direct business contacts and an exchange of views related to the future of the industry. “This is the only place where trade fair visitors will have an opportunity to try out the equipment of various manufacturers during live demonstrations on various paint systems taking place every day,” says Julian Ciesielski, the organizer of the Skills Testing Ground. The special demonstration space known as the Skills Testing Ground is a place where you can talk to various specialists in the field of: powder coating equipment, wet painting applications, coating testing equipment, washers, pumps, shot-blasting equipment, polymerization furnaces, paint walls, cabins, transport and grinding systems. This way, you will be able to find solutions to issues that emerge in your paint shop or in any other surface treatment plant. There will also be lectures on mechanical surface processing, wet painting and powder coating, which will be held near the demonstration area on the second day of the fair, from 11:00 a.m.

15 TH ENGINEERING FORUM – TECHNOLOGY FOR RECYCLING

This time, we will focus on recycling in selected areas and on the closed-loop economy. The forum will feature the presentation of practical actions in the field of waste management in the Polish economy. Furthermore, the forum will cover such topics as innovative recycling technologies enabling effective recovery of raw materials and materials that can be further reused, as well as effective cooperation of Polish entrepreneurs with scientific and research institutions in this field. It will also feature a presentation of new challenges for the Polish economy and science that stem from the existing legal regulations and directives of the European Union. Moreover, we will indicate sources of support for further scientific research and implementation of modern technologies, methods and systems leading to a

closed-loop economy (GOZ).

IN4LOG INDUSTRY – INNOVATIONS FOR LOGISTICS

The 7th edition of the event, co-organized by the Medialog publishing house and the Poznań International Fair, will focus on innovations in industrial logistics, modern techniques of goods procurement and organization of internal flows. FLEXIBILITY, JUSTICE and BALANCE are the three skills that form the core of this year's Innovations for Logistics Industry project (In4Log 2018). The presentations of "LEAN Exercises" will show you how to influence such parameters as: performance, flow rate, internal delivery time and error-free delivery. Daily exercise demonstrations will take place every hour in Hall 7A at Modernlog from 5th to 8th June 2018.

7 TH EDITION OF THE MECHANIC’S DAY

The Association of Polish Mechanical Engineers and Technicians (SIMP) is organizing the seventh edition of the Mechanic’s Day at MTP Blue Hall on 6th June. As intended by the General Board of SIMP, the project is celebrated annually to commemorate the constitutional meeting of the Association's founders that took place on 28th June 1926. The event, which is so important to all mechanical engineers and technicians, will include a lecture devoted to Professor Jerzy Wojciech Doerffer, leader of the Polish shipbuilding industry and patron of SIMP 2018 on the hundredth anniversary of his birth. The event will feature a lecture on the condition of the shipbuilding industry in Poland, an award ceremony where the winners of the 11 th edition of the National Competition for "The Best Technical Achievements of 2017" will receive diplomas, awards and other recognitions, as well as the presentation of the best works.

INNOVATIONS IN INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS

A seminar organized by the Institute of Plastics Treatment will once again become a platform for a direct meeting of representatives of science and industry. This time the seminar will cover technological and material issues of volumetric plastic treatment (including rolling), metal sheet processing as well as machines, devices and tools, with reference to the projects in the realization of which the Institute of Plastics Treatment is actively involved.

MM SPEAKERS CORNER – GETTING CROSS-QUESTIONED

It will be the second time this year that a series of MM Speakers Corner discussion panels, devoted entirely to the idea of the fourth industrial revolution, has been held. This time, experienced specialists – managers of the largest industrial companies operating on the Polish market – will share their knowledge and experience in the scope of the wide concept of Industry 4.0. The debate will be moderated by Radek Brzózka, a well-known television reporter, who will not only ask the experts questions and ensure that the discussion runs smoothly, but will also take part in the discussion himself. MM Speakers Corner has been divided into four thematic parts. The whole event will start at 10:00 and last until 15:30.

TECHNOSTEEL POLAND – INNOVATIONS IN THE STEELWORK INDUSTRY

TechnoSteel Poland is an opportunity to meet steel suppliers, their customers and representatives of business-oriented companies, get acquainted with new steel applications, as well as innovations in technology and business strategies. The discussion during TechnoSteel Poland will be attended by, among others, representatives of leading steel production and distribution companies, customers of steel products, manufacturers of machinery and equipment for steel processing, vendors of services for the steel industry, as well as companies offering technologies for the steel industry.

3D METAL PRINTING CONFERENCE

It is the first time in the history of ITM Poland that the trade fair will have featured a conference entitled "3D Metal Printing", supported by CD3D, admin of the largest portals dedicated to incremental technologies in Poland - Centrum Druku 3D and 3D w praktyce (3D Printing Center and 3D printing in practice). The conference will be attended by representatives of key players from the 3D metal printing industry in Poland. The lectures will provide many case studies in the field of practical application of incremental technologies, implementations of 3D printing systems in production companies, and unique products that are created using them. It is a unique opportunity to learn about the latest trends in this area and see which direction the world's largest industrial enterprises are heading.

PRESS CONFERENCE: DIGITAL ERA OF METAL TREATMENT TOOLS – BI-MU FAIR in Milan

We invite you to take part in a press conference where a new face of the most important trade fair of metalworking machines in Italy, BI-MU 2018 (9-13 October 2018, Milan) will be unveiled. The meeting will be attended by Riccardo Gaslini, BI-MU Fair Director, who will present the statistics, news and the agenda of the event. During the 31st edition of the BI-MU 2018 fair, the exhibitors will showcase their portfolio of machine tools for machining, plastics treatment, robots, automation technologies, digital manufacturing, and auxiliary technologies.

BIMU is the only international trade show in Italy to have opened up to the digital world. It focuses on the Internet of Things (IoT), big data analysis, cyber security, cloud computing, augmented reality, system integrators, incremental manufacturing and vision & control systems.

THE PRACTICAL ASPECTS OF GDPR – NEW REGULATIOSN ON PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION IN A COMPANY

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) significantly changes the approach to the protection of personal data. The processing of data related to monitoring, biometrics or identification will be subject to new rules, and the processing of personal data of employees or customers will be subject to new security standards. Therefore, it may be useful to find out what to expect after May 25 th. A practical explanation of the issue will make it possible to assess what activities should be undertaken in the organization in order to effectively handle the new responsibilities.

SUBCONTRACTING INDUSTRIAL SUBCONTRACTING EXHIBITION / 5-8 JUNE / HALL 7

Co-opetition, i.e. cooperation and competition, is the key word that best reflects the character of the Subcontracting exhibition. The purpose of the event is to show the potential of companies operating in the industry. It is here that subcontractors from Poland and abroad present their capabilities. By participating in Subcontracting, a manufacturing company can establish new business contacts, gain valuable experience and consistently expand the scope of its activity. This year, nearly 100 subcontractors from Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Germany, Slovakia, Slovenia and Italy will present themselves in Poznań. Among them are companies specialized in subcontracting works in such fields as machining, plastics treatment, welding, cutting, plastics processing, rubber processing, electronics, electrical engineering and services for the industry. The subject matter partner for the Subcontracting Exhibition is the Metalworking Cluster – the National Key Cluster.

MANAGER WORKSHOP

The "Manager Workshop" zone will offer a series of workshops, lectures and discussions on the leading theme of the trade fair “Towards Industry 4.0”. This revolution is just behind the corner and the most important question is: how to prepare for it effectively? Industry 4.0 is not just about automation and robotization of production. It is also a change of business philosophy and new competences of the management and employees, as well as a new approach to customers. Will the Polish economy find its way in a new reality? Discussions and debates during the exhibition will address these issues. The zone will be open for three days, from 6th to 8th June, from 10:00 to 13:00, and each day will be devoted to a different topic. The main points to be discussed during the event include: "How to effectively prepare

your company to enter Industry 4.0", "Cluster development in Poland" and "People – the biggest challenge".

ADVANTAGE RESULTING FROM COOPERATION. EFFECTIVENESS OF CLUSTERS – GLOBAL TRENDS ON THE POLISH GROUND

A conference prepared in collaboration with the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology, the Poznań International Fair and the Metalworking Cluster – the National Key Cluster related to cluster development in Poland. The most prominent experts in the field of clusters in Poland will discuss the Polish cluster policy, tools to support cooperating companies and the role of clusters in the economic development. Among the guests are representatives of National Key Clusters (NKC). During the meeting, the speakers will answer the following questions: what is ahead of us in the following aspects: re-certification of NKCs and the completion of the EU budget 2014-2020, what challenges the budget 2021-2027 and the strategy for sustainable development will set, as well as what the new rules for support will be like. A brand new thing is the slogan saying, "The entire Poland as a Special Economic Zone". The most important goal of the conference is to encourage companies that have not operated in clusters so far to get engaged in cooperation and to present the benefits resulting from such cooperation. THE MAGIC OF THE MEETINGS – SUBCONTRACTING ITM MEETINGS

A two-day international cooperation platform addressed to representatives of companies and other entities operating within the wide industrial sector. It is a unique, free-of-charge and convenient formula for building long-lasting relations between subcontractors and potential clients. An unquestionable advantage of this form of matchmaking is the possibility to get to know the profile of the candidates in advance and make an appointment for specific meetings through a special web panel at www.b2match.eu before the event. The Poznań Science and Technology Park is a partner supporting the matchmaking meetings. The 2018 edition will include 129 bilateral meetings, 92 the participants, 12 countries (Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Latvia, Germany, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Great Britain and Italy). It is also worth noting that Subcontracting ITM Meetings was one of seven events organized with the support of the Enterprise Europe Network to have been recognized.
