Highlights of PICK 3, 4 & 5 Packages 2 Stunningly beautiful day hikes, one will be into the middle

of the rainforest to a 70’s Rock and Roll shrine (4.5 – 6 hours) and the other is down a river to a beach and back along a coastline trail (7 – 8 hours)

You will eat 3 home cooked Tico style meals (Vegetarian option) per day and have an opportunity to try some rare jungle fruits.

Spend over a week in one of the "world’s most biologically intense places" according to National Geographic.

Go horseback riding along coastline / beach. Zip-lining through the tree tops of primary rainforest. 2 Waterfalls to visit or go up river for a hike and be sure stop

and go for a refreshing swim in some of the most remote, pristine pools around.

Day 1 - Arrive to Naguala Jungle LodgeArrive to Drake Bay, be picked up at airport or beach and be brought to Naguala to check in. You will have a bit of time to catch your breath, freshen up from a day of travel. Then you will enjoy your first homemade meal together and get use to the sights and sounds of the rainforest.

Day 2 - Naguala NatureEnjoy a full day of exploration of the waterfalls, rivers and walking trails. The rainforest has so much to offer to help you let go of your everyday as you start your ‘Pura Vida’ adventure.

Day 3 - Horseback riding to the beach, swim, hike, listen to the surfYour horse will be brought to you at Naguala Jungle Lodge, where you will hop on for a ride through the jungle, down a scenic dirt road to San Josecito Beach. Here you can go for a swim, go for a hike up the beach or lay in under a tree (not a coconut tree) to listen to the surf and relax. You will have a packed lunch before you head back to Naguala.

Day 4 - Rock and Roll HikeYou will hike to the closest ranger station where Alfredo will meet the group to lead us to his to his safe haven in the middle of the rainforest where you will relax, listen to good music and exchange interesting stories. There is a fresh water pool to dive in, a natural Jacuzzi and an amazing collection of 70‘s Rock Music. After your visit you will hike back to the ranger station and then to Naguala. (4.5 – 6 hours of hiking in total)

Day 5 – Snorkelling/Scuba diving, Explore Drake Bay and BeachYou will be able to go snorkelling around Caño Island which is second to none for the island itself is a protected national park and the inshore reef has a visibility of 20 ft. or more so you will have the chance to spot lots of bright coloured fish, eels, sea turtles, manta rays and more. Or you can hike to and explore the small town of Drake Bay, enjoy the shops, stands along the beach and grab a bite for lunch. You will all meet up at a local watering hole before we head back to Naguala. (Please note a certification is required to Scuba Dive)

Day 6 – Early Corcovado Tour or Qi Gong, Body Work, Chill Day If you are lucky enough to be able to head into Corcovado National Park you will be up early but this will be one day you will not forget. According to National Geographic, Corcovado is one of the most bio-diverse places on the planet. If you are not going into the park, there will be a Qi Gong class after breakfast as well as time for a Thai massage / energy work. Or relax in a hammock, take off to a waterfall and enjoy Naguala nature all around you.

Day 7 – Rio Claro Hike, Sunset On The BeachYou will start your day off with a good breakfast and then gear up for scenic 6 - 8 hour hike. Do not forget your sunscreen, hat, light material long sleeved shirt etc. You will have two guides on this journey with you, your snacks, lunch and water will be carried with you. Your hike will end at Ricon beach in time to relax a bit before you enjoy a stunning sunset. If you do not go on the Rio Claro hike there is a Sunset tour later on in the afternoon to enjoy and meet up with the hikers when they arrive at Ricon beach.There is a great lookout restaurant / bar locally own at the top of a hill where you can see Cano island off in the distance, grab a beverage or bite to eat before you head back to Naguala.

Day 8 – Qi Gong, Zip-lining, Horseshoes and BarbequeYou will be able to sleep in a bit if you want or work out any stiffness from your all day hike with a morning yoga class. The rest of the day you will be able to kick back and enjoy a full day of relaxation at Naguala Jungle Lodge. This would be a perfect opportunity to receive a Thai massage, Reiki or Acupressure session, your body and inner spirit will thank you. Around mid afternoon there will be a horseshoe tournament for you to participate in if you want and evening barbeque also, fun and good times for sure.

Day 9 - DepartureIt is time to say goodbye! After breakfast you will pack up to leave your jungle paradise. One last truck ride out of to Naguala back to Drake Bay where you will either fly or take a boat to your next destination.
