PKW outcomes are set by Sheffield City Council, the specific outcomes we need to work towards with this fund are: 1. Enabling and facilitating volunteering in the area. (this can support or strengthen volunteering programmes or create new opportunities for volunteers) 2. Encouraging people to ‘move more’ (this can be any kind of physical activity from ‘chair aerobics’ to getting people out into green spaces) 3. Partners work together to provide a range of Asset Based community-based support that improves health and wellbeing (this is about building infrastructure to support the community in what they do)

People Keeping Well is a Sheffield City Council commissioning framework, via which the council puts money into community health projects. There are 16 partnerships across the city, including one covering Lowedges, Batemoor, Jordanthorpe, Beauchief & Greenhill.

Applications for small grants (up to £1000) are invited from PKW partners for activities in the local area which meet one or more of the outcomes above.

Successful applicants will be expected to attend a celebration event at the end of the project, to which they should bring a one page report on how the project has been

successful. This is not intended to be an onerous task, and can contain photographic evidence as well as a short written report.
