Conducted celebration of world population day

VENUE: ICF DHQ DATE: 14-07-2018

Our crew got permission from the group leader /scout to conduct quiz &extempore speech in connection with word population day on 14th july 2018at our district headquarters.

We decided to conduct two competitive events for scouts, guides, rovers &rangers. After registration event has been started with the flag ceremony in presence of shri. R. Naresh kumar , RSL & shri. S . Hari Krishnan , ARSL.

The event was anchored by shri . N. Sarveshwaran, rover. welcome address was given by

shri. M.karthick , rover.

The event has been inaugurated by shri . M.B.Vasu ,ALT/S.

A special speech about scouting was given by shri . S.R. Tamilselvan ,Founder of VOCSG, and he also gave brief explanation about population education and family life education.

A information speech about world population day and population education was given by

shri . Ashwanth , rover. And he also gave speech about census and comparison of population from other countries & schemes of reduction in population.

Rules and registration of quiz &extempore speech was given by shri . sivaharigaran , rover.

EXTEMPORE-SPEECH:

The honourable judges of in this event are shri s . r . Tamilselvan ,founder ,vocsg &shri. S.sivaraj ,RSL.

Participants had choose their own topics from the shuffling boul.

09 participants are participated from different groups.

Participants are allowed to speech their topic about population education.

QUIZ:

Our second event is quiz competition about ,population , sports, general knowledge,basic aviation & airlines. The quiz master shri.N.Sarveshwaran,rover conducted the quiz in the presence of our district commissioner/scouts shri S.Meyyappan,DY.CE.

In this event 12 teams are participated from different groups , score board was maintained by shri .jayapakash , rover.

We conducted 05 rounds,in which first 03 rounds are eliminator rounds ,then last 2 rounds for 4 teams , each team marks was obtained.

The valedictory function was held after completion of events , our

chief guest shri. N . udayakumar .district secretary &sme.dss gave momentos & appreciation certificate to winners of in this events, participation certificate also given to all participants and special address was given by our district secretary.

Vote of thanks was given by shri. Vasanthakumar .R.C. ,rover and the event was concluded by national anthem.
