Dear Augusta City Council:
Legendary Landscaping appreciates the opportunity to respond to the August City Council’s Request for Proposal dated April 15, 2014. Our offer to service the 5 miles of Route 24 median and siding, 10 acres in Willoughby Park, and 23 acres at Augusta Memorial Golf Course is _________.
Our proposal of $58,000 includes mowing, edging, weeding, and fertilizing the locations. We are available to start landscaping the locations the week of April 30, 2014. We will use our state-of-the-art equipment and take the necessary safety measures to ensure our services meet the City of Augusta’s standards.
Thank you for the opportunity to present this proposal. We will use all the resources available to Legendary Landscaping to ensure the quality of the landscaping at the three locations.

In order to provide the best service to our clients, we make sure our equipment is the latest model from the most reliable manufacturers. Our shop performs monthly inspections on all of our mechanical equipment to ensure that they are running efficiently and without any malfunctions. We refuse to have any piece of equipment out in the field that we do not have the utmost trust and confidence in.
As you can see, our mower are equipped with the latest in safety measures. All of our mowers are equipped with a debris guards and emergency shut off switches. This safety measures provide our expert staff the ability to safely and efficiently perform their duties and handle any unexpected situations with professionalism and care.

Experience and Qualifications
ExperienceLegendary Landscaping was found in 1995 by three brothers from their garage in a small Oregon town. Since then, we have grown to service clients in 25 towns across Oregon. Our clients range from private properties, city and local governments, athletic facilities, and golf courses.

Weekly Schedule
Here is a proposed mowing schedule for Route 24, Willoughby Park, and Augusta Memorial Golf Course.
Proposed Mowing Schedule
We propose these time for specific reasons:
Willoughby Park - We observed the park and it is least populated on Wednesdays from the hours of 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. This is when we plan to perform landscaping on the park to reduce the chance of injuring anyone in the area.
Augusta Golf Course – The busiest hours at the golf course is Friday through Sunday. We have proposed to mow the course on Thursdays from 5:00am to 9:00am. The golf course will be freshly cut just in time for the weekend golfers.
Route 24 – The lease amount of traffic along Route 24 is on Saturdays. We propose to mow every Saturday from 7:00am to 11:00am.
