Our Evaluation Team is currently looking for an Intern – Project management with a focus on evaluation (Praktikant/in – Projektmanagement im Bereich Evaluation/ Internationale Entwicklungszusammenarbeit) 6-month – starting summer 2019 Your tasks include: Assist in the implementation of complex evaluations, including: Participate in the implementation of data collection activities (surveys, desk studies, etc.) Undertake specific thematic analyses and research Data and document analysis and visualisation; Support contractual, financial and administrative management Support any further tasks in the day-to-day management of evaluation projects Assist business development and tendering for contracts, which includes, among other: Assist overall preparation of offers, i.e. compilation, administrative documents, layout Research for potential partners Assist in identifying and recruiting experts Communicating with experts, partners and clients in English and, if applicable, French

Your profile: Master’s degree in political science, economics, international development or other relevant fields First work experience (internship, volunteer work) is an advantage Ability to work under pressure and towards multiple deadlines Strong analytical and drafting skills and strong ability to process qualitative & quantitative data Strong communication skills and team orientation Sound command of Word, Excel, PowerPoint Willingness to learn and develop new skills on a constant basis Excellent command of English (C2 in the Common European Framework) Proficient written and spoken French is a strong asset Other assets: languages (German, Spanish), theoretical background in evaluation, knowledge of
