Market ResearchJohn Lewis has come up with a new product which they can sell to their customers which is Hyper Spinner 20 Inch BMX Bike. This article will be set out in a way where it highlights how John Lewis should promote their products using the 4 P’s.

Hyper Spinner 20 Inch BMX Bike:

What the product is:

This is a type of Hyper BMX bike which is produced by the company Hyper Bicycles Inc. This BMX (Hyper Spinner BMX) has a 20inch frame and wheel size and it comes with both front and back brakes unlike some types of BMX’s which you can get also both brakes are classed as V brakes. Not only that this BMX also comes with 2 sets (4 stunt pegs) of stunt pegs which come in the colour black. The bike frames and other parts of the bike are made out of steel. When the product is delivered most of the bike is made and fitted for you other than a few parts which have not be put together (self-assembly) due to packaging (to prevent the product being damaged during the process of delivery). The bike also comes with 360 Gyro frame meaning it can do a 360 degrees turn without any problems (360 Gyro also means that it can keep 360 turns in the same direction one after another). The bike also weights 14.5kg and is suitable for people aged 5 years and over.

The reason I chose this product was because I think that John Lewis being as big and as well know business as they are that they should offer an even bigger range of products to customers. Also people in the UK are now trying to do more exercise then they used to and by offering other types of products which will help them to exercise should help build up a better name for itself. Another thing is that by bringing this bike into their range of products this will also open up other doors of products just like this they can sell. This is also a product which I would also like to see John Lewis to start selling or at least offering to their customers. What they could also do is ask people which buy from John Lewis is they would like a product like this (bicycles) which they can buy from them instead of having to go to other companies which might have higher prices to get the product they want. The target market for this product will be men and women aged from 5 years and up. But also a customer which like doing sport including cycling or even tricks with their bike and going up ramps etc. This product will mainly be aimed at the younger aged groups or people who are physically health and fit (able to use this product in the way it was built for e.g. to do tricks, stunts, going up ramps etc) but it can be aimed at anyone.
