2. Innovations in curricular design and transaction
The heads of various teaching departments formulate a term-wise syllabus in
consultation with their departmental colleagues and the same is followed during the
session. This ensures uniformity in teaching, especially where a class is being taught by
more than one teacher.
Being an affiliated institution, the college is obliged to follow the syllabus devised by the
Common Syllabi Committee (CSC) of the affiliating Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra
and the M.D. University, Rohtak. Many of our senior Associate Members contribute
significantly in the designing of the curricula by virtue of being the members of the CSC.
Educational trips to various industries/ organizations, conducting of seminars/ group
discussions are decided by the respective departments in their departmental meetings
and the same are implemented by the respective teachers-incharge. This has shown
significant improvement in the university results of the college, personality development
of the students and their placement in various P.G. courses/ employment. Modern

class room teaching. There is complete emphasis on ICT based teaching-learning.
