Objective:
Highly organized and self-motivated Technical Writer/Editor and Content Manager with 10+ years experience in e-commerce, Marketing, SEO, Learning, Information Technology and Security is looking for a challenging and creative role as a Writer/Editor/Content Manager within the Technology Industry. Summary of Accomplishments
I have written for numerous audiences, both internal and external, at a variety of Fortune 500 Companies; this includes Microsoft, Amazon, Expedia and The Walt Disney Company.
Authored and worked with Amazon third-party sellers, where my main function was to create SEO driven content for various products being sold third party on Amazon to ensure higher ranking in online searches by consumers. This also included writing a SOP/Style Guide called “Writing Content for Amazon Third Sellers” to help others write this same content.
As a Senior Technical Writer with XBOX Live, I lead a team of writers across different groups within the organization to create a style guide to ensure consistent content throughout the organization. I also mentored other writers regarding network diagrams and worked as a Technology SME for writers and editors regarding the working knowledge for front end, middle tier and backend content for the service.
Authored Security Incident Response Guides and cheat sheets for security incidents based on severity levels for XBOX Live and Commerce Operation Centers at Microsoft.
Worked with Microsoft’s World Wide Marketing Mobile and Embedded Group by collecting feedback from global OEM customers to create and determine the most frequently asked questions which helped WW Marketing in creating specific content to suit the needs of consumers by region.
As part of the Communications and Marketing team with the Walt Disney Company, I owned a weekly blog site called Technology at Disney, which discussed the newest technologies being used at Disney. This included video games, virtual reality, Artificial Intelligence, 3D effects, 3D printing, and robotics for television, movies and theme parks.
Researched and composed competitive analysis documentation for specific security tools/platforms based features and price for both enterprise and private consumers.
Wrote How To documentation and APIs for a variety of tools related to SaaS, Wiki Sites, processes and hardware.
Authored release notes focusing on bugs and improvements based on patches and user feedback.
