2015-2016 Goals Progress Further Action Data Used to Inform Responses Strategic ImperativeDuring the fall semester of 2015, we will revise SPED 6766 to include explicit instruction for curriculum development and lesson planning. Students will apply these skills during field placement experience SPED 6792 and SPED 6793. Students will be evaluated using the Intern keys, which will evaluate their ability to effectively plan, implement lessons, and assess student learning as a result of the lesson.
Maintain or increase our enrollment by at least 2%.

SPED 6793 S16 19/19 100% 74/76 97.36% 43/76 56.57%NOTES:^Tk20 interprets the word “submitted” as the number recorded of students that pressed “Submit” on their end. This then does not account for students that may have completed any or all part(s) of their binder but simply pressed “Save as Draft” and not “Submit”. It is important to inform students that they must press “Submit” on their end for better dependence on the data reported.
*There was a form marked as “optional” for all University Supervisors (Faculty) to fill out [COE Professional Conference Form (Use Only if Needed)]. This optional form still had to be "submitted" in order for the binder to be marked as "complete" and thus may explain for some of the percentages represented in the columns denoted with the asterisk.
**We calculated the total forms possible to fill out instead of basing it on only the binders that were "completed" by students because some students may not have pressed "submit" on their end but still had work uploaded and the assessor could still access this work and then grade any forms on the student's work.

Admissions and Active MajorsActive Major & Graduate Trend Data – Last 5 Years*
*The number of active majors is inclusive of all students actively enrolled in SPED M.A.T., including students that graduated in either Summer, Fall or Spring of those years. All graduation candidates were included in each term’s evaluation of all actively enrolled majors, therefore giving a larger number impression. While this is not the sole reason for the stark difference in numbers, it is important to know when considering outcomes and goals.
