You will also support project conception & design and study start-up activities and review database specifications. This role will also be responsible for summarizing data by generating frequency tables and descriptive statistics, uploading/downloading data transfers, initial review of data transfer, producing specifications for derived variables and quality control checks. Working knowledge of the following: SAS Data step with conditional statements and variable creation; and merges and concatenation. Exposure to the following: macros and arrays for repetitive tasks; complex merges (including one-to-many merges); descriptive statistics procedures for summarizing, restructuring and outputting data; SAS Output Delivery System to control output. Knowledge of SAS Software data set architecture, utilities, and programming techniques. Advance SAS procedures or techniques (e.g., SAS/Graph, advance macros, etc.) and knowledge of STDM, CDISC and SQL, is preferred.
