NOSA Welcome Registration Brochure Neuro-Ophthalmology Society of Australia 33 rd Clinical & Scientific Meeting & NeuroVision Training Weekend 14-17 September, 2017 at Sheraton on the Park, Sydney 14 -17 September 2017 On behalf of the Neuro-ophthalmology Society of Australia (NOSA) we are delighted to invite you to participate in the 2017 Annual Clinical and Scientific Meeting and the Neuro-Vision Training Weekend, at the Sheraton on the Park, in Sydney NSW. This is the only dedicated neuro-ophthalmology meeting in Australia, and as such we have planned a program to keep you up to date with latest clinical advances in neuro-ophthalmology to apply within your practice. The highlight of the program will be our two keynote speakers, Dr Nancy Newman and Dr Valerie Biousse from Emory Eye Center, Atlanta. They are fabulous lecturers known for their practical approach incorporating the latest evidence based medicine, and a good dose of humour. In particular they will focus on inherited optic neuropathies and giant cell arteritis. We are also lucky to be joined by Dr Mike Burdon, who will continue his tradition of providing a series of educational case discussions. Dr Steffen Hamman from Denmark will also be speaking on his international optic disc drusen research. The tradition of the Williams/Walsh cases will continue, with commentary being provided by Dr Svetlana Cherapoff (pathology) and Dr Yael Barnett (radiology). Local and international attendees are invited to submit a Williams case, a scientific abstract for original research or a shorter case for discussion. We also hope to expand the poster session, to accommodate smaller research projects and cases. Please also join us for the NOSA Dinner at Bentley Restaurant (Radisson), Thursday 14 September and the NeuroVision Dinner at Postales Restaurant (GPO), Saturday 16 September. Register early to ensure a seat at these dinners! We look forward to you being a part of NOSA’s 33 rd Annual Scientific and Clinical Meeting. Clare Fraser, Kate Ahmad, Mitchell Lawlor
