Used the info. picture about Dr. Janet Green to open discussion and reminded students to have at least 3 observations about the picture. Looked at Mission 1 Objectives. Handed out video viewing questions and discussed completion expectations. Watched the Mission 1 Briefing Video. Discussed what the following terms mean: potential energy, kinetic energy and coronal mass ejection. Read the Defining Energy” article on page 8 of handouts. Discussed why we look at weather forecasts here on Earth. Read the Mission 1 Briefing article on pg. 8 of handout.
