GRUSSWORT DES VORSITZENDEN
Die Automobilindustrie befi ndet sich durch die Energie- und CO2-Diskussion, Vernetzung sowie Automatisierung in einem tiefgreifenden Wandel. Daraus resultieren Anforderungen an die Antriebe und Getriebe, die insbesondere die Effi zienz, den Komfort, die Dynamik und die Sicherheit betreffen. Das Ergebnis sind eine hohe Variantenvielfalt der konkurrieren den Antriebs-
und Getriebekonzepte sowie Innovationsschübe bei allen Bauteilen und Aggregaten in einem bisher nicht da gewesenen Maße. Dies betrifft nicht nur die neuen elektrifi zierten Antriebskonzepte, sondern auch die konventionellen Antriebe und Getriebe, die auf absehbare Zeit die tragen-den Säulen der Antriebstechnik bleiben werden.
Die konventionellen Antriebe bedienen sich immer mehr der elektrischen Komponenten und zwar dort, wo die Elektrifi zierung zur Einhaltung der gesetzlichen CO2-Emissionswerte ökonomisch sinnvoll ist. Allerdings stellt die Reduzierung der Abgasemissionen für den Kunden keinen un-mittelbar erlebbaren Vorteil dar. Deshalb muss die – mit Zusatzkosten verbundene – Elektrifi zierung dem Kunden z.B. durch Steigerung der Dy-namik und des Komforts einen zusätzlichen spürbaren Mehrwert bieten, damit sie auch angenommen wird.
Vor 18 Jahren erfolgte der Serieneinsatz des mittlerweile mehr als 7 Millionen Mal gebauten Hybridantriebs von Toyota, der im Kern ein speziell für Hybridantriebe entwickeltes, elektrisches CVT enthält. In der Zwischenzeit haben sich – wenn auch in relativ geringen Stückzahlen – vielfältige Add-On-Hybridkonzepte am Markt etabliert, die auf den konventionellen Getriebekonzepten basieren. Aufgrund der wachsenden Elektrifi zierung werden zukünftig jedoch neue, ausschließlich für elektrifi zierte Antriebs-stränge entwickelte Getriebekonzepte eine bedeutende Rolle einnehmen und die Add-On-Lösungen teilweise verdrängen. Diese völlig neuartigen Getriebe sind schon heute als z.B. Aktivgetriebe oder Multi-Mode-Getriebe bekannt.
Im Rahmen des diesjährigen Symposiums werden erstmalig alle in der genannten Gruppe befi ndlichen Getriebekonzepte unter dem Begriff „Dedicated Hybrid Transmission“ (DHT) zusammengefasst und vor einem Fachpublikum diskutiert. Die DHT-Konzepte weisen mehrere Betriebs modi auf und ermöglichen damit neben dem seriellen und/oder parallelen Hybrid antrieb auch den rein elektrischen und optional den VKM-Antrieb.
Auch der Einfl uss des Automatisierten Fahrens auf den Antrieb wird erstmalig diskutiert. Darüber hinaus werden wir natürlich auch in diesem Jahr weitere neue Konzepte von Getrieben, Hybrid- und Elektroantrieben, aber auch zahlreiche komponentenbezogene Themen und Fragestel-
lungen behandeln, die in der Summe den Gesamtantrieb zu optimieren helfen:
DHT: Was können diese Konzepte besser als Add-On-Hybridgetriebe? Sind die modular aufgebauten Schaltgetriebe mit elektrifi zierter
Kupplung und Automatikgetriebe sowie CVT mit hochintegriertem
Anfahrelement der neue Trend in der Getriebeentwicklung? Konkurrenzkampf zwischen AT, DCT und CVT bezüglich Komfort und
Fahrbarkeit, Verbrauch, Dynamik und Kosten: Welche Fortschritte gibt es und für welche Konzepte entscheiden sich die Märkte und OEMs?
Neuartige HEV- und BEV-Konzepte: Wird die VKM neben ihrer Antriebs-funktion zunehmend als Booster und Range Extender agieren?
Markt und Technik: Wird es für den Antrieb von PKW und leichten Nutz-fahrzeugen in absehbarer Zeit, basierend auf Mildhybridkonzepten mit einem zusätzlichen 12V- oder 48V-Bordnetz, eine Volkshybridisie-
rung geben? Lassen sich damit die anspruchsvollen CO2-Ziele der EU in 2025 erreichen?
BEV: Wann stimmt die „Bilanz“ bezüglich Energieinhalt, Kosten, Gewicht und Infrastruktur?
Welche Neuigkeiten gibt es im Bereich von NVH?
Wie beeinfl ußt die FuSi die Antriebsstrangentwicklung? Bedarfsgerechte Aktuierung, Beölung, optimierte Lager für bessere Getriebeeffi zienz
Optimale Dynamik, Komfort und Effi zienz durch verbesserte Antriebs-
und Getriebekalibration Nutzfahrzeuge: Verbrauchsoptimierung und Hybridisierung Automatisiertes Fahren: Welche neuen Anforderungen werden an An-triebe und Getriebe gestellt?
Getriebeproduktion: Wie lässt sich die neue Variantenvielfalt in Produktion und Fertigung effi zient umsetzen?
Auch in diesem Jahr wollen wir mit der Verleihung des 7. CTI Young Drive
Experts Award an frisch diplomierte und promovierte AbsolventInnen, de-ren Arbeiten auf dem Gebiet der Getriebe und Antriebsentwicklung beson-ders herausragen, die Bedeutung des Nachwuchses unterstreichen.
Der oben aufgeführten großen Themenvielfalt tragen wir mit einem um-fangreichen Programm Rechnung: 110 Fachvorträge im Plenum und 16 parallele Vortragsreihen, eine Podiumsdiskussion zur Frage „Wie sieht der Antrieb in 2030 aus?
Bleibt das Elektrofahrzeug auch langfristig ein Nischenmodell?“ – begleitet von der Transmission Expo, unserem „Technologiemarkt für in-novative Produkte zum Anfassen“ mit 130 Ausstellern.
Zusammen mit den beiden Einführungsseminaren in die Grundlagen
und Praxis der Getriebe sowie der funktionalen Sicherheit (Neu!) und der alljährlichen CTI Vergleichsfahrt zum Erleben von Neu- und Weiter-entwicklungen stellt das 14. CTI Symposium in Berlin erneut ein exzel-lentes Forum zum Meinungs- und Erfahrungsaustausch für internationale Getriebe- und Antriebsfachleute dar und gibt ein wertvolles Statusupdate sowie einen Ausblick in die Zukunft.

Zielsetzung
Im Rahmen dieses Einführungstages erhalten Neu- und Querein steiger einen Überblick über die Grundlagen konventioneller, hybrider und elektrischer Fahrzeugantriebe. Basierend auf Fahrwiderständen sowie Kennfeldern von Verbrennungskraftmaschinen und Elektromotoren werden die Aufgaben der Anfahrelemente, Getriebe sowie der weiteren Antriebsstrangelemente defi -niert. Darüber hinaus werden Leistungs fl üsse in verschiedenen Antriebskon-zepten erläutert (konventionell, hybrid in paralleler, serieller und leistungs-verzweigter Ausführung sowie rein elektrisch) und die entsprechenden Entwicklungsziele dargestellt.
In der Session „Konventioneller Antriebsstrang“ erfolgt unter anderem die Erläuterung der Konzepte für Handschaltgetriebe, automatisierte Schalt-getriebe, Doppelkupplungsgetriebe, Automatikgetriebe sowie Stufenlos-getriebe. Das Thema Antriebsstrang-Management rundet diese Session ab. In der dazu parallelen Session „Hybrid- und Elektroantriebe“ werden die grundlegenden Anforderungen und Eigenschaften elektrischer Maschinen, der Leistungs elektronik sowie der Fahrzeugbatterien behandelt.
Zum Abschluss der beiden Vortragsreihen erfolgt ein Überblick über die Themen der jeweils anderen Session in einer Kurzfassung.

Praxisorientierte Einführung in die Funktionale Sicherheit von Fahrzeugantrieben und Getriebesystemen nach ISO 26262
Zielsetzung
Im Rahmen des Seminares wird ein Überblick über das Themenfeld funktionaler Sicherheit nach ISO 26262 gegeben. Es richtet sich an Entwickler aus den Bereichen Antriebe und Getriebe, ebenso aber auch an Quer- und Neueinsteiger in das Thema der Funktionalen Sicherheit für den Antriebsbereich. Es werden sowohl die Rollen und Aufgaben der Entwicklungsingenieure als auch die Verantwortung des Managements beleuchtet, aber auch die der Automobilhersteller und Zulieferer.Im Seminar werden die wichtigsten Schritte für einen vollständigen Sicherheitsnachweis anhand von Praxisbeispielen vorgestellt. Diese starten mit Managementaufgaben und Dokumentation eines Safety case und setzen sich fort mit Analyseverfahren wie Gefahrenanalyse und Risikobewertung sowie Verifi kations- und Validierungsmethoden. Im Rahmen der Betrachtung funktionaler und tech-nischer Sicherheitskonzepte werden Fragestellungen zu Diagnose- und Notlaufkonzepten behandelt. Dr. Eckhard Scholz absolvierte von 1985 bis 1990 ein Maschinen-bau-Studium (Energie- und Verfahrenstechnik) an der Technischen Universität Braunschweig und promovierte 2005 an der Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg. 1991 trat er in den Volkswagen-konzern ein. Von 1996 bis 2007 war er in verschiedenen Leitungsfunk-tionen in der Technischen Entwicklung der Marke Volkswagen in Wolfs-burg tätig, zuletzt als Leiter der Aufbau-Entwicklung. Im April 2007 wurde Dr. Scholz als Entwicklungsvorstand in die Unternehmenslei-tung von ŠKODA berufen. Im September 2012 wurde er zum Sprecher des Markenvorstands und Vorstand für Entwicklung bei Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge ernannt. Im Juli 2014 berief man Dr. Scholz schließ-lich zum Vorsitzenden des Vorstands der Marke Volkswagen Nutzfahr-zeuge.

Nach dem Studium startete Mihir Kotecha seine berufl iche Laufbahn 1987 bei Unigate Dairies Ltd. Von 1991 bis 1999 hatte er verschie-dene Finanzpositionen bei Datapoint (UK) Ltd. und der Ford Motor Company inne. Anschließend war Herr Kotecha als Corporate Finance Manager von 1999 bis 2001 bei Ford of Europe. Danach wechselte er zur GETRAG FORD Transmissions, wo er bis 2005 Chief Financial Offi cer war. 2005 wurde er zum Chief Executive Offi cer der GETRAG FORD Transmissions und 2009 der GETRAG Group Transmissions er-nannt. Seit 2011 ist Mihir Kotecha Chief Executive Offer der GETRAG Corporate Group.

Dr. Robert Fischer studierte Maschinenbau/Wirtschaft an der Tech-nischen Universität Graz und promovierte bei Prof. Pischinger am In-stitut für Verbrennungskraftmaschinen. 1988 trat er als Gruppenleiter für Kupplungen und Schwingungen bei Merzedes-Benz ein. Ab 1992 war er verantwortlich für Softwareentwicklung, Elektronik, Messtech-nik und Testfeld im Bereich Getriebe bei der LuK GmbH & Co. KG. 1995 wurde Dr. Fischer in die Geschäftsleitung bei der LuK berufen, wo er für verschiedene innovative Getriebeentwicklungen sowie dem Aufbau der entsprechenden technischen Kompetenz an mehreren Standorten verantwortlich war. Dr. Robert Fischer wechselt 2003 als Geschäftsführer zur AVL List GmbH, wo er für den Bereich Engineering und Technik Antriebssysteme zuständig ist.
Gerald Killmann

Gerald Killmann studierte Maschinenbau mit der Fachrichtung Ver-brennungsmotoren an der Technischen Universität Graz, wo er dann von 1988 bis 1992 als Assistenzdozent tätig war. 1992 trat er bei Toyota Motor Europe (TME) in Belgien als Motorenentwickler ein. Da-nach wechselte er in den Bereich Entwicklung Dieselmotor der Toyota Motor Corporation in Japan. Von 1998 bis 2007 hatte Herr Killmann diverse Managementpositionen im Bereich Antriebsstrangentwicklung inne. Darauf folgte eine sechsmonatige Position im Bereich Hybrid, bevor er 2008 zum General Manager Powertrain Design bei TME in Belgien ernannt wurde. Anschließend hatte er von 2009 bis 2012 die Funktion des Director of Powertrain und danach bis 2013 die des Vehicle Project Director inne. Derzeit ist Gerald Killmann Vice President R&D2 der Toyota Motor Europe.

Larry Nitz studierte Elektrotechnik an der Kettering University und er-langte seinen Masterabschluss an der Standford University. 1976 trat er bei General Motors ein und erlangte im Laufe seiner Berufslaufbahn umfassende Kenntnisse im Bereich der Benzinmotoren, manuellen und automatischen Getriebe, der Antriebs- und Fahrzeugsteuerung sowie Hybrid- und Elektrosysteme. Larry Nitz leitet heute die globale Getriebe- und Elektrifi zierungsabteilung von GM, mit Entwicklungs-tätigkeiten in Nord- und Südamerika, Europa und Asien. Seine Abteilung ist für alle Vorgänge bei GM im Bereich manueller und automatischer Getriebe, sowie der Elektrifi zierung des Antriebsstranges zuständig.
Dr. Wolfgang Reik

Dr. Wolfgang Reik studierte Physik an der Universität Karlsruhe. Nach der Promotion zum Dr.-Ing. am Institut für Werkstoffkunde I an der Universität Karlsruhe erfolgte der Berufsstart bei der Firma LuK in Bühl, einem Kfz-Zulieferanten und Spezialisten für Kupplungen und Antriebsstranglösungen. Nach verschiedenen Anfangspositionen, wie Optimierung von Härteprozessen und Qualitätssicherung, wurde ihm 1981 die Versuchsleitung übertragen. In dieser Zeit hat er sich sehr stark mit der Theorie der Drehschwingungen in Antriebssystemen be-schäftigt. Es entstand das Zweimassenschwungrad, das sich inzwi-schen als fester Bestandteil vieler moderner Antriebsstränge etabliert hat. Auch die Schwingungsisolation mit Hilfe des Fliehkraftpendels wurde in dieser Zeit bereits erkannt und theoretisch aufgearbeitet. Auf Grund dieser Vorarbeiten war es dann die Firma LuK, die zwei Jahrzehnte später das Fliehkraftpendel in Zweimassenschwungrädern und Wandlerüberbrückungskupplungen einsetzen konnte und damit einen neuen Standard für Torsionsdämpfer setzte. Ab 1989 war Herr Dr. Wolfgang Reik Mitglied der Geschäftsleitung der Firma LuK für den Bereich Forschung und Entwicklung. 2004 wurde ihm zusätzlich die Leitung der ganzen Vorentwicklung Automotive der Schaeffl ergruppe, bestehend aus den Firmen INA, LuK und FAG, übertragen.Seit 2014 ist er pensioniert und als Berater für Innovationen für die Schaeffl er-gruppe und verschiedene andere Firmen tätig.

Seit 1992 ist Wolfgang Müller-Pietralla, Diplom-Biologe, im Volks-wagen-Konzern beschäftigt und war dort zunächst für den Aufbau eines konzernweiten Umweltmanagementsystems zuständig. Von 1997 bis 2002 war er in unterschiedlichen, gestalterischen Funkti-onen für die AUTOSTADT GmbH in Wolfsburg tätig. Seit der Gründung im Jahr 2002 leitet er die Abteilung Zukunftsforschung und Trendt-ransfer im Volkswagen Konzern. Im Fokus steht neben der Analyse und Projektion von Zukunftsfaktoren, deren Übersetzung in Unternehmens-strategien, Mobilitäts- und Fahrzeugkonzepte. Seit Oktober 2010 lehrt Wolfgang Müller-Pietralla an der FU Berlin im Masterstudiengang Zukunftsforschung und ist Mitglied in verschiedenen Gremien des Fraun hofer Instituts, des BDIs und der Zeppelin Universität (AMADEUS Institut für Mobilitäts- und Geschäftsmodellinnovation | AIM).

Dr. Rolf Leonhard studierte Maschinenbau an der Technischen Univer-sität Darmstadt. Nach einer Tätigkeit als Konstrukteur im Bereich Otto motoren bei der Daimler-Benz AG, promovierte er von 1979 bis 1984 an der gleichen Universität über Diesel-Motoren. Danach begann er seine Karriere bei Robert Bosch im Bereich Vorentwicklung Benzin- und Diesel-Direkteinspritzung. Von 1986 bis 1990 war Dr. Leonhard Gruppenleiter Entwicklung Rußfi lter im Geschäftsbereich Diesel Systems, danach folgte eine Position als Abteilungsleiter Vorentwick-lung Elektronische Systeme und Projektleiter CARTRONIC, Corporate Research bis 1993. Des weiteren hatte Dr. Rolf Leonhard die Position des Entwicklungsleiters für Steuergeräte, Sensoren und Startsysteme im Geschäftsbereich Diesel Systems inne. Danach wurde er zum Bereichs-vorstand Entwicklung des Geschäftsbereiches Gasoline Systems er-nannte. Im Jahre 2006 wurde Dr. Rolf Leonhard Bereichsvorstand Entwicklung im Geschäftsbereich Diesel Systems. Seit 2011 fungiert er als Aufsichtsratvorsitzender der Bosch Engineering GmbH.
Dr. Peter Rieth

Dr. Peter Rieth studierte Maschinenbau an der Technischen Universität Darmstadt und war dort von 1978 bis 1983 wissenschaftlicher Mitar-beiter am Institut für Werkstoffkunde, wo er 1983 in der Fachrichtung Maschinenbau promovierte. Im gleichen Jahr kam er zur früheren Alfred Teves GmbH in Frankfurt, einem ITT-Unternehmen, wo er das Referat Festigkeit leitete. Nach verschiedenen Positionen, unter anderem als Assistent der Geschäftsführung, übernahm er 1988 die Leitung der Hauptabteilung Entwicklung Fahrwerksysteme. Ab 1994 leitete er den Bereich Zukunftsentwicklung von ITT Automotive Europe, auch nach-dem der Bereich Brems- und Fahrwerksysteme der ITT Automotive im Jahr 1998 in die Continental-Gruppe integriert wurde. 2001 übernahm Dr. Rieth die Leitung der Zentralen Technik und Fahrzeugsysteme und wurde in das Management-Board der Division Continental Automotive Systems berufen. Seit 2003 hatte Dr. Rieth die Geschäftsleitungsfunk-tion Technologie und Zukunftsentwicklung in der damaligen Continen-tal Automotive Systems Gruppe inne. 2007 wurde Dr. Rieth im Zuge der Integration von Siemens VDO als Leiter Systems & Technology in das Management-Board der Continental-Division Chassis & Safety berufen. Seit Januar 2015 befi ndet sich Dr. Peter Rieth im Ruhestand.

Guillaume Devauchelle studierte an der „Ecole Centrale de Paris“ und ist seit dem Ende seines Studiums in der Automobil- und Luftfahrt-industrie tätig. Bis 2000 war er Vizepräsident Forschung und Entwick-lung bei Sylea, einem Hersteller von automobilen Kabelsystemen, welches von Valeo übernommen wurde. Bei Valeo hatte er zunächst die Position als stellvertretender Geschäftsführer von „Valeo Electronic & Connective Systems“ inne, bevor er seine jetzige Position als Vize-präsident Innovation & Scientifi c Development der Valeo Group über-nahm. Des Weiteren ist Guillaume Devauchelle Vizepräsident von „Pôle de Compétitivité” MOVEO, einem Kompetenzzentrum für die Entwicklung des automobilen und öffentlichen Transports, sowie der "Société des Ingénieurs de l'Automobile“ und Vorstandsmitglied der Universität Versailles – Saint Quentin en Yvelines.

Michael Schöffmann trat 1988 nach seinem Studium der Regelungs-technik an der Technischen Hochschule Darmstadt in die Audi AG ein und startete seine Karriere als Versuchsingenieur in der Elektronikent-wicklung. Bereits 1993 erweiterte er seine Erfahrungen in der Abteilung Getriebeentwicklung und übernahm fünf Jahre später Management-aufgaben in diesem Bereich. 2003 nahm er die Führungsposition als Leiter der Entwicklung von Stufenautomaten an und wurde 2008 zum Leiter der Getriebeentwicklung ernannt.
Tetsuya Takahashi

Tetsuya Takahashi begann 1981 bei der Nissan Motor Company als Versuchsingenieur im Bereich Motorenversuch. Danach verantwortete er in den Jahren 1988 und 1989 als Senior Engineer die Entwicklung des neuen V8 Twin Turbo Motors. Von 2001 bis 2002 war Herr Takahashi Chefstratege der Planungsgruppe „Kraftstoffverbrauch“ und verantwortlich für die Planung und Entwicklung der ökologischen Antriebstechnologien. In 2003 wechselte er zum Nissan Technical Center North America in Farmington Hills, wo er zunächst als Direktor Antriebsstrang & Emissionen/HVAC & Wärmetechnik und Technolo-gieplanung tätig war. Danach folgte eine Position als Geschäftsführer des Bereiches Powertrain Performance Engineering, wo er für die Ent-wicklung und Anwendung von konventionellen Antrieben zuständig war. Von 2010 bis 2013 war Herr Takahashi Geschäftsführer Antriebs-strang Produktentwicklung und war damit verantwortlich für die Ent-wicklung des RWD Hybridsystems. Im April 2013 wechselte Tetsuya Takahashi zu Jatco als Corporate Vice President Forschung und Ent-wicklung. Ein Jahr später wurde er zum Senior Vice President ernannt und ist damit für das gesamte Management der Abteilung zuständig.
