Winter quarter enrollment a t WPCC set a new record, according t o Mr. George Fouts, V-P for Academic Affairs. ?here were 1,946 registered for the quarter. This compares t o 1,783 for Winter Quarter, 1981. The enrollment is only 33 students below the 1,979 students who enrolled Fall Quarter, 1982. M r . Fouts emphasized that there was "very l i t t l e a t t r i t ion between the Fal l and Winter quarter." He w a s espe- cial ly pleased that a l l curriculum program, including cbllege trans- fer; held steady, with a growth in computer science courses. "Overall, we continued t o gain approximately 12 percent in curriculum e n r o l l z n t compared. t o comparable quarters a year ago.
