The Boer war is a war start between Boer person and British The Boer war is start at 1899 The Boer war end at 1902 This war resulted because of few conflicts between the British

and the Boers. Some website says is because the British had taken over the Cape Colony after the Nepoleonic Wars and the Boers prematurely attacked British’s space and took over some of it.

When the Boer War broke out in 1899, Australia was made up of six colonies that were on the verge of becoming a federation. The war was seen as an chance for Australia to show its commitment to Britain  and to define its identity.

Of the 16,500 troops sent by Australia to the war, at least 600 died, about half from disease and half in action. Five Australians were awarded Victoria Crosses for bravery in battle.

Australia has 16500 people troops in the Boer war.
