Communication is vital to this event and communication was done through several factors.◦ Student Schedules had the times and meeting places of all the

classes.◦ Student schedules were printed the night before and distributed to

program faculty so every student had a schedule (required to pick up the laptop).

◦ Reminder post-cards went out to the students a month before the event to have them mark the date.

◦ Signage was put up across campus highlighting key areas for students.

◦ Signage was put up across campus recognizing vendors who donated.◦ Signage was put up in buildings directing student groups.◦ Student Success/Student Government met students in our building

with laptops to provide schedules to walk-ins, give directions, help solve student issues.

A survey was done of students and staff the first year and then only staff the second year.

Results of the survey are compiled into a Powerpoint presentation in this class.
