Standard and objective: CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RL.9-10.3 Analyze how
complex characters (e.g., those with multiple or conflicting motivations) develop over the course of a text, interact with other characters, and advance the plot or develop the theme.
SWBAT Look at a character from the text closely to
determine their internal and external conflicts. Show how the character is beginning to evolve
in the novel through the events and interactions they have with other characters.

I will be grading critically. Ensure that you are showing clear knowledge of the character you selected to write to.
Creative assignment You can write a song, poem, write a
interview with one of the characters, create a poster on one of the events.
