After the successful first edition of 2019-20 Which covered all the colourful and vibrant events cherished by all the students right from KG to XII .The emphasis was on the academics and cultural tempo which we maintain throughout the year. Here we are with our second edition which showcases a relatively different outlook of our school and sings with a tone of victory and excellence. It exhibits the sportsmanship, spirit of adventure, academic excellence, social awareness, and unique talents of our students. This term, the students displayed their talents, which they acquired through vigorous practice and hard work under the persistent guidance of our teachers, at various Regional and National events. They kept the flag of SAIS flying high with pride by proudly wining several medals in various competitions like sports meets, science exhibitions, essay writing competitions, spell bee, etc., proving the fact that there is no substitute to hard work. Our students also actively participated in numerous programmes that were conducted at the school level. We at SAIS believe at educating students beyond the four walls of classroom. A trip to Pondicherry for class VIII students was organised in order to experience the divine nature and to the Indian Air Force’s terrain to breathe the air of purity. EDITORIAL........

After the successful first edition of 2019-20 Which covered all the colourful

and vibrant events cherished by all the students right from KG to XII .The

emphasis was on the academics and cultural tempo which we maintain

throughout the year.

Here we are with our second edition which showcases a relatively different

outlook of our school and sings with a tone of victory and excellence. It

exhibits the sportsmanship, spirit of adventure, academic excellence, social

awareness, and unique talents of our students. This term, the students

displayed their talents, which they acquired through vigorous practice and

hard work under the persistent guidance of our teachers, at various Regional

and National events. They kept the flag of SAIS flying high with pride by

proudly wining several medals in various competitions like sports meets,

science exhibitions, essay writing competitions, spell bee, etc., proving the

fact that there is no substitute to hard work. Our students also actively

participated in numerous programmes that were conducted at the school level.

We at SAIS believe at educating students beyond the four walls of

classroom. A trip to Pondicherry for class VIII students was organised in

order to experience the divine nature and to the Indian Air Force’s terrain to

breathe the air of purity.

To sum up this edition is full of stories of valour and glory.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the participants and readers of this

magazine.

Most importantly we extend our gratitude to our school principal Chhala didi

who constantly encourages and supports us.

Prof. V. Madhusudan Reddy Garu, an eminent scholar, a visionary, and an idealist, had

singlehandedly worked on several projects such as Sri Aurobindo International School, the

Institute of Human Study, Aurodarshan, Matridarshan, and Mankind on the March.

He was also the editor of ‘New Race’, a bimonthly journal. He travelled widely in India

and abroad holding conferences on Sri Aurobindo’s thought and vision. He published

numerous articles on Integral Philosophy and Yoga.

We, at SAIS, dearly celebrated our beloved Bapu’s birthday. In his honour we conducted

various events like the recitation of the poem, A Prayer, written by Prof. V. Madhusudan

GANESH CHATURTHI

Ganesh Chaturthi is a traditional Indian festival which is celebrated by all our countrymen.

The festival unites the masses of our country and surrounds our vicinities with its high-

spirited vibes.

Lord Ganesh symbolizes abundant ancient wisdom and knowledge. He is the custodian

God of auspiciousness and divine omens.

We at SAIS celebrated the significant day with much devotion and love towards the

Godhead who is the remover of all obstacles. Class 10 students made the day more vibrant

and devotional by presenting various programs like Classical dance, group singing, a talk etc.

TEACHERS’ DAY- 5th September 2019

“A teacher is a living encyclopaedia of knowledge and wisdom that guides us from darkness

to light. She touches our soul and makes her mark on our hearts with her divine care, love

and nurture.”

We celebrate the Teachers’ Day to commemorate the work done by Dr. Sarvepalli

Radhakrishnan, our former President of India, on his birthday. He was a profound philosopher and a

well-versed scholar. But he was widely recognised as a great teacher of the nation. So, on the day,

we paid homage to our beloved teachers for their tireless work.

As a part of our Teachers’ Day celebrations, we had a wide range of events through which

we acknowledged the relentless service of our teachers. The events are: the students of

class 10 acting as the teachers of the day, ethnic wear of teachers and students, and a

combined lunch for all the teachers where they treated themselves with exotic homemade

delicacies.
