OverviewThe BKPF-012A converts a 525-line component serial digital video signal into both anNTSC composite serial digital and an NTSC composite analog video signal. OverviewThe BKPF-106A/106P is an audio/video demultiplexer board that demultiplexes AES/EBU-formatdigital audio signals from a multiplexed 525/625 component serial digital (BKPF-106A) or NTSC(BKPF-106A)/PAL (BKPF-106P) composite serial digital video signal. A single BKPF-106A/106P board will demultiplex two audio pairs/four audio channels. OverviewThe BKPF-108 NTSC composite serial digital synchronizer board synchronizes theinput video signal to an external analog reference signal. Two outputs of thesynchronized signal are provided. An active loop-through output is also included. Two synchronization modes are available. 1-frame synchronization gives minimumsignal delay, 2-frame synchronization (with auto/manual re-synchronization) ensuresthat no disturbance of the video and embedded audio signals occurs over a period oftime defined by the stability of the system SPG. If the input signal is lost, the field/frame function can output a black video frame. Fieldor frame freeze is selectable by GPI. All embedded audio channels are muted whilethe video signal is frozen. The audio stream can carry up to 16 channels and, as these are not processed, audioquality is maintained.

OverviewThe BKPF-201 is an audio A to D converter board that converts two analog audio signalsinto an AES/EBU digital audio signal. Conversion is at a 20-bit resolution, with a samplingfrequency of 48 kHz. This board includes a digital delay circuit, which delays the inputsignal up to eight video frames, in 1/8-frame steps. OverviewThe HKPF-106 is a video/audio demultiplexer board that demultiplexes AES/EBU-format digital audio signals from a multiplexed SMPTE291M/292M/299M componentserial digital video signal. The input video signal is distributed to two outputs.A single HKPF-106 board will demultiplex two digital audio pairs/four audio channels.Up to four pairs/eight channels of audio can be separated from a multiplexed HDcomponent serial digital video signal by connecting two HKPF-106 boards in cascade.

OverviewThe HKPF-525 HD down converter board converts an HD component serial digitalvideo signal to a 525-line component serial digital signal and distributes it to fouroutputs. The 525-line component output signal format is selectable to 4:2:2Y/B–Y/R–Y, 4:4 Y/B–Y/R–Y or 4:4:4 GBR. In the case of the 4:4:4 format signals, onlytwo outputs are available.

OverviewThe HKPF-1125 is a 525-line to 1125-line upconverter with an auto colorimetry selection capability and selectable outputmodes. To produce optimum image quality, it also features a motion adaptive conversion mode, anti image enhancer andgamma correction function. The HKPF-1125 is a one-board solution with an exceptional cost/performance ratio to bringexisting analog and digital SDTV sources into the HD digital domain. It accepts inputs in conventional NTSC compositeanalog or NTSC composite serial digital or 525 component serial digital signal format, and provides three HD serial digitaloutputs in 1125-line interlaced HDTV standards. 1125 output can be in 1035 or 1080 active line format.The HKPF Series function boards install in the PFV-HD Series Interface Units togetherwith the BKPF Series function boards.

OverviewThe HKPF-E270 HDCAM Encoder Board is designed to convert HD SDI signals(conforming to SMPTE292M/BTA S-004B) to SDTI (HDCAM) signals.The bit rate and the maximum transmission distance are common between SDTI andSDI. This means that by combining HKPF-E270 HDCAM encoder and HKPF-D270HDCAM decoder boards, existing routing and processing equipment for SDTV serialdigital signals can be upgraded to also support HDTV signals. This preserves pastinvestments.
