What is a demographic?
referring to the class, race, age group, and gender of a group of people
What is a stereotype?
to make a generalization or assumption about a person based on his or her race, religion, class or gender
What is a target audience?
the group of people called which you are trying to reach in your marketing efforts
What are the parts of a corporate identity?
Letterhead Envelope Business card Packaging Stickers pens
What goes on a business card?
Logo Owner or employee Website Email Address Phone number Hours of operation (if applicable)
Where does text go on an envelope and letterhead? What information?
What is a logo?
. A word, name, or symbol, used by a manufacturer or merchant to identify its products distinctively from others of the same type and usually prominently displayed on its goods, in advertisement, etc
What to consider when making a logo:
Demographic for the brand Color and the feelings associate ie.
Purple represents royalty, loyalty, and trust; yellow for energy; green for natural; orange for creative and energy etc
Simple shape Readable text Minimal color
What is subliminal persuasion?
a hidden meaning in an advertisement that sways a consumer to purchase a product through association with status, wealth, sex and power
What is a tag line?
The text used on an ad that draws the readers attention, usually the catch phrase
Define minimalism:
A movement of abstract artists who produce uncluttered paintings and sculptures that make use of basic colors and geometric shapes in impersonal arrangements
