Internally, the large rooms provide a fine balance between entertaining public areas and double bedrooms, all of which are en suite. The ceiling heights on both floors are 2.7m which also creates large proportioned rooms. There are three windows which face west. The inner hallway features a cart arch window overlooking the courtyard and driveway, and there is an under stair cupboard. The large laundry room has a glazed door to the garden and it is fitted with base and wall mounted units with worktops surfaces, an inset 1½ bowl sink and mixer tap, plumbing for an automatic washing machine and space for larger appliances, an integrated microwave oven, coat hanging cupboard off and a separate WC with wash basin and a window to the side. Also on the ground floor is a substantial family bathroom with WC, twin vessel wash basins with base unit below, raised Jacuzzi style bath and a separate shower with tiling and screening.

A staircase with a mid-landing has an oak balustrade and leads to the first floor hall with seating and a study area if required. There are five double bedrooms, all of which have en suite shower rooms.

An integral garage provides space for three vehicles and has an electrically controlled double roller door. There is also an internal door to the inner hall, and two windows to the side. The oil fired boiler is located here and there are base and wall mounted units with worktops, an insert stainless steel sink and mixer tap, and an oven, hob and cooker hood.

Stone pillars and timber and wrought iron gates enclose a chipped driveway leading to a courtyard which provides parking for several vehicles, a caravan or boat. The boundaries are clearly defined with walls, fencing and hedging. To the side is a sizeable lawn and a barked children’s play area with a climbing frame and swings included in the sale. There is a log store, rotary clothes dryer, external lighting and a water supply. Also to the rear is a large area of entertaining timber decking with views out over open farmland to the hills beyond.
