Working philosophy

• Psychological competencies has to be an integrated part of the (football) culture on 3 levels (Stambulova):1. Operational level

2. Situational level

3. Career level• LPP approach (Lave & Wenger); Intervention in cultures of

experts• From micro to macro level => focusing on the player, the

players relations and the players environments!• Focus on practical and meaningful intervention – it has to

work and make sense when I’m not there! • Use of cognitive-behavioural techniques alongside a

broader existential focus
