Boards. The Black Belt
Midterm (as usual) will be
in two parts on Tue Oct
19th & Wed Oct 20th from
5:30 - 6:15pm on Wed.
The Color Belt Testing will
be on Wed Oct 20th. All
students will be Testing in
their classes. Marshalls

on Wed Oct, 20th, 2021 at
6:15 - 6:45pm. Tigers may
choose between October
19th or 20th for their belt
testing days.

House & Costume Party
On Sep 27,2021, The City of
Dent on published t heir
Fifteenth Order of Council
which Extended Mask Re-
quirement Provisions under
its current declaration of
local disaster relating to the
COVID-19 pandemic. This
Order extended the mask
requirement provisions for
commercial entities in the
City of Denton. Originally
set to expire Sept 30, 2021
the mask requirements for
commercial entit ies have
been extended through Oct
31, 2021. The requirements
were adopted to extend, in
part, due to the emergence
of the COVID-19 Delta Vari-
ant, existing segments of the
population that are not yet
vaccinated, and a significant
increase in cases and hospi-
talizations in the region. The
Order continues to require
that all commercial busi-
nesses that provide goods
and services directly to the
public must:
• Implement a health and
safety policy that re-
quires, at minimum, a
universal indoor use of
masks, covering t he
nose and mouth, for all
employees and visitors
to the business to the
business entities’ prem-
ises or facilities; And
• Post the health and safe-
ty policy in a visible
location suff icient to

Marshalls ATA will conduct our
Fall Harvest Belt Testing on
Wed Oct 20th. The New White
Belt Students testing for Or-
ange Belt will be required to
have 3 belt stripes. These indi-
cate they can demonstrate the
basics of their Form and can
demonstrate the first 5 moves
of their Songahm One form.
Punching techniques Jab,
Cross, Hook, Uppercut .
Kicking Techniques #1, #2,
#3 & #4 Front Kicks & Side
Kick. Single & Double Step.
White Belt Sparring Com-
bos #1, #2 & #3. They will
also demonstrate the basic
knowledge of commands; Attn/
Bow (Chahreot Kyeongneh),
Joon Bee (Ready), Shiu (At
Ease), Begin (Shijak), Stop
(Set ), What does Songahm
Mean? Pine Tree Temple. The
meaning of White Belt Form
Pure & Without Knowledge of
Songahm Taekwondo.

Congratulations are in order for 2nd Degree Black Belt, Mr. Arthur Grimaldo.
Mr. Grimaldo has received his official letter and Leadership Uniform with Red Collar and is now an ATA Legacy Certified Instructor Trainee. Mr. Brandon Minh Huynh & Mr. Diego
Barcenas have also received their official acceptance letters and Junior Leadership uniforms
from ATA Headquarters and are now members of our ATA Junior Leadership Program.

our martial art. Once a stu-
dent earns their Orange
belt, they will continue on
to learn the White Belt One-
Step transition utilities #1,
#2 & #3, The White Belt Self
-Defenses #1,& #2. They
will continue learning add’tl
segments of Songahm One
up to half of the Form. They
will learn proper execution
of Round Kicks, Side Kicks
& Front Kicks. They will
learn rudimentary weapons
manipulation with the
Single stick Bahng Mahng
Ee and Combat Bahng

tack on the body. They
will continue to learn the
discipline of a martial art-
