Hopkinton win Unified ChampionshipHopkinton bested Plymouth Regional, 32-23, to win the first

annual NHIAA Unified Basketball Championship at Southern New Hampshire University on Saturday. The league, a partnership with NHIAA and the Special Olympics of New Hampshire, brings together high school students with intellectual disabilities and their peers without disabilities on the same team.

Senior Zach Calley scored a game-high 16 points on 8-of-19 shooting and added eight rebounds for Coach Robin O'Dougherty's team, which finished the season 8-0. Mount Royal breaks groundMount Royal Academy has broken

ground on a new academic building that will contain classrooms for students in pre-K through grade 8. The two-story building will be completed in July. The expansion of the campus provides much needed space for the school, which has doubled its enrollment in the past four years. The new building is the latest in facility developments for the Acad-emy which, just last year, added The Saint Joseph Center - a 12,000 square foot multi-purpose building that includes a gymnasium, computer and science labs, office space and a lunchroom.
