New Orleans had a levee on the coast line of the Gulf of Mexico. It eventually broke apart and flooded the New Orleans city.

- What evidence support the people who think New Orleansn should never be re-built?

-Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans on August 29, 2005. Damaging the whole city. 80% of the city was flooded.

-At least 1836 people lost their lives in the hurricane.-It was the deadlist U.S hurricane since the 1928

Okeechobee urricane.- Damage was $89.6 billion- Re building it would cost billions
