  • Canada has the 3 rd largest forested area in the world (Russia #1, Brazil #2) Our forests cover almost half of Canada which is equal to the area of 15 western European countries combined

  • Commercial forests: can be logged for profit because the trees grow fast and the forests are near roads, railways and waterways Non-commercial forests: trees are not cut down because they are too far from transportation networks. It is also too cold for these trees to grow quickly

Using your completed note from the past 2 periods, write at least 3 possible test questions. They could be in the form of multiple choice or questions or they could be long answer questions. Be sure to construct an answer sheet too. Hand this in to Mr. Meyer by the end of the period!!!!!
