2021年日本語・日本文化教育プログラム短期語学研修コース

（3か月）オンライン日本語ステップアップ講座受講案内

　関西大学は、130余年の古い歴史をもつ日本屈指の私立総合大学で、13の学部と13の大学院研究科、2つの専門職大学院に、1,100人以上の留学生を含む約30,000人の学生が学んでいます。大学のキャンパスは、大阪に位置し、京都、奈良、神戸まで約1時間で行くことができます。　本学では、2013年より南千里国際プラザにて夏期と冬期に日本語・日本文化教育プログラム短期語学研修コースを開講していますが、今回はこれに加え、新たな短期語学研修コースとして、JLPT対策または日本語実践能力の向上に重点を置いた約3か月のオンラインのコースを実施します。本場の日本語授業とあなたの日本語への情熱で日本語能力をアップしませんか。

期　　間　2021年9月8日（水）〜11月24日（水）　　　　　※9月8日（水）はオリエンテーションのみ。授業は9月13日（月）から開始します。

対　　象　外国籍を有し大学等に在籍している学生又は大学等を卒業した日から受講開始までが1年以内の者

申込資格　日本語能力試験N3レベル相当以上

コースと科目

（1）JLPT対策コース提供科目：「JLPT N1・N2対策クラス（文法・語彙・漢字）」

日本語能力試験（JLPT）の言語知識（文法・語彙・漢字）の問題を事前課題として解き、授業ではその解説や質疑応答を中心に行います。12月実施の本試験でのN1・N2合格を目指します。

「JLPT N1・N2対策クラス（読解・聴解）」日本語能力試験（JLPT）の読解・聴解問題を解き、その解説や質疑応答を行います。12月実施の本試験でのN1・N2合格を目指します。

（2）実践日本語コース提供科目：「実践日本語（会話）」

同コースの「Japan�Studies」で学んだ日本の文化や社会に関するテーマに沿って現役の関西大学学生とディスカッションをします。日本語ネイティブとのコミュニケーション能力を伸ばします。

「実践日本語（読解・聴解）」新聞記事や様々な読み物、ニュース等を使用した活動を通して、実践的な日本語読解力・聴解力を身に付けます。

「Japan Studies（日本の社会・文化）」日本の伝統文化からポップカルチャー、また現代の社会問題に至るまで、日本の文化や社会に関する知識を身に付けます。同コースの「実践日本語（会話）」では、この「Japan�Studies」で学んだ日本の文化や社会をテーマに現役の関西大学学生とディスカッションすることができます。

（1）と（2）の2コースを同時に受講することができます。または、（1）、（2）のどちらか1コースだけ受講することもできます。

上記①②の申請後、約1週間以内に ijlc@ml.kandai.jp から受付完了の案内メールが届く

8月上旬：コース開講可否の連絡受入決定の通知、受講料の請求、今後の手続き等のご案内

8月中旬〜下旬：プログラム費用の支払期限、入金確認後受講許可書送付

8月下旬：受講前案内

9月8日：受講スタート

8月上旬：Zoom の接続テスト※�接続環境が安定していることと、申込資格（日本語能力試験N3レベル相当以上）を満たしていることを確認します。また、実践日本語コースにおいては、インタビューにて受講クラスを決定します。

Zoom の接続テストおよび審査授業はZoomにて進行します。そのため、コースが始まる前に次の日程でZoomの接続テストを行います。日時：8月4日（水）17：00〜　　内容：接続環境のチェック接続テストの際、日本語能力試験N3レベル相当以上の日本語能力があるか審査を行います。また、実践日本語コースについては、クラス分けを行います。成績票と修了証書コース修了者には、電子版の成績票と修了証書を発行します。

Kansai University Intensive Japanese Language and Culture Course (IJLC)

Online Japanese Language Step-up Session (3 Months)

Five Course Highlights

1. There are two courses available: In the JLPT Preparation Course, students aim to

pass JLPT N1 or N2. In the Practical Japanese Language Course, students aim to

acquire communication skills and knowledge of Japanese society and culture.

You can choose the courses that best suits your purpose.

2. Classes start in the evening, three days a week.

You can participate even if you have plans during the daytime.

3. The course is designed by professional instructors of Kansai University Japanese

Language and Culture Program Preparatory Course (Bekka), who have successfully

been helping students to pass JLPT or proceed to undergraduate or graduate level

in Japan.

4. Because of real-time online course, you can ask questions directly to the instructors

and interact with them in classes.

5. Kansai University regular students participate in the conversation class of Practical

Japanese Language Course, enabling students to have practical conversations with

native Japanese speakers.

Online Japanese language Step-up Session (3 Months)

Course Guide

Kansai University (KU), known as one of the leading universities in Japan with long history

of over 130 years, is a comprehensive private university with 13 undergraduate, 13 graduate

programs and 2 professional graduate schools. There are over 30,000 students enrolled in the

university including more than 1,100 international students. KU campuses are located in

Osaka. They are about an hour train ride away from Kyoto, Kobe and Nara.

Since 2013, Kansai University has been offering Intensive Japanese Language and Culture

Course for summer and winter at Minami-Senri International Plaza.

In addition to our existing course, we will be offering a new 3-month online course that focuses

on "JLPT preparation" and " improvement of practical Japanese language skills”.

Course Period

Wednesday, September 8, 2021 – Wednesday, November 24, 2021

※ Orientation only on Wednesday, September 8. Classes will begin on Monday, September 13.

Eligible Participants

Students who have foreign nationality and are enrolled in a college or university, or those

who have graduated from college or university within one year of starting the course.

Qualifications for Application

JLPT N3 level or higher

Courses and Subjects

(1) JLPT Preparation Course

Subjects:

●JLPT N1 or N2 Preparation Class (Grammar/ Vocabulary/ Kanji)

Students are asked to solve the questions of Language Knowledge (Grammar/ Vocabulary/

Kanji) in JLPT as a preliminary assignment, and the class focuses on explanations and

Q&A. The goal is to pass JLPT of N1 or N2 in December.

●JLPT N1 or N2 Preparation Class (Reading and Listening Comprehension)

Students solve the questions of Language Knowledge (Reading and Listening

Comprehension) in JLPT, followed by explanations and Q&A in class. The goal is to pass

the tests of N1 or N2 in December.

(2) Practical Japanese Language Course

Subjects:

●Practical Japanese Language (Conversation)

In this class, students have discussions with Kansai University regular students on topics

related to Japanese culture and society that they have studied in another class of the same

course, "Japan Studies”. Students develop their ability to communicate with native

Japanese speakers.

●Practical Japanese Language (Reading and Listening Comprehension)

This class is designed to develop practical Japanese reading and listening comprehension

skills through activities using newspaper articles, various reading materials, news and so

on.

●Japan Studies (Japanese society and culture)

This class is designed to acquire knowledge about Japanese culture and society from

traditional Japanese culture to pop culture or contemporary social issues.

In another class of the same course, "Practical Japanese Language (Conversation)",

students can have discussions with Kansai University regular students on themes related

to Japanese culture and society that they have learned in this class.

You can choose to take one course of (1) or (2) only, or take both courses of (1) and (2).

Early August: Zoom connection test

We will confirm that the connection environment is stable and that you meet the qualifications (JLPT N3

level or higher). In the Practical Japanese Language Course, class placement will be determined by an

interview.

Zoom connection test and review

The classes are conducted on Zoom. Before the course starts, we will test the Zoom

connection on the following date.

Date and time : Wednesday, August 4, 5:00 p.m.

Content : Checking the connection environment

During the Zoom connection test, the applicants will be screened to ensure that they have

Japanese language skills equivalent to the JLPT N3 level or higher.

For the Practical Japanese Course, students will be divided into classes.

Grade transcript and Certificate of Completion

Students who complete the course will receive an electronic version of their grade

transcript and certificate of completion.
