Over the past 5 years there has been an average of 48 secondary teacher vacancies per year.
What created the vacancies:o Retirees – 8 per yearo Teacher Left the Profession of Ag Ed – 21 per yearo Teacher accepted a position in Agriculture at
another school – 12 per yearo New Programs – 4 per yearo Programs added an additional teacher – 3 per
year 5 year average shows a yearly demand for
36 new teacher candidates.
