Bacteria in a New Light, LampaVart vi än går följer våra bakterier med. Hela livet lämnar vi efter oss ett osynligt spår av biologiska avtryck. Genom att odla bakteriekulturer från vissa tidpunkter och platser – som en första dejt – har formgivaren Jan Klingler kommit på en metod att bevara betydelsefulla minnen. Efter ett dygns tillväxt kapslas bakteriekulturerna in i harts och monteras därefter i lampfötter av glas. På så sätt, menar Klingler, får vi ett starkt känslomässigt band till ett vardagligt föremål som samtidigt berättar något om vilka vi är och vad vi upplevt,

Lobster,StolMartin Thübecks stol med namnet Lobster är mycket riktigt lika röd som en kokt hummer. Men framför allt utmanar den våra fördomar om hur en stol ska fungera och se ut. Med lika delar ergonomi och humor har Thübeck skapat en excentrisk sittmöbel som gör det möjligt för många olika sorters kroppar att sitta på många olika sätt. Med sitt mjuka, bulliga uttryck får den alla att känna sig välkomna.

Lobster,ChairMartin Thübeck’s Lobster chair is, as the name suggests, as red as a boiled lobster. But above all, it challenges our preconceptions about how a chair should look and work. With equal parts ergonomics and humour, Thübeck has created an eccentric piece of seating furniture that makes it possible for all kinds of bodies to sit in all kinds of ways. resterna av fåglarna med tiden skapa ett rosafärgat geologiskt skikt i berggrunden, ett så kallat stratum, som ett outplånligt spår av samtidsmänniskans matvanor. Det är ett spekulativt projekt, som på ett tankeväckande sätt belyser maktstrukturer och den globala, industriella matproduktionen.
