Sir, SPMU, Integrated Coastal Zone Management Project (ICZMP) West Bengal is pleased to

offer you engagement as General Duty Attendent(Finance) in the Integrated Coastal Zone

Management Project (ICZMP), West Bengal.

Your engagement is purely on temporary and contractual basis upto 29th December 2017

from the date of joining. The engagement is subject to the following terms and conditions:

1. As a General Duty Attendent (Finance) you will be required to make entries of

Account related documents in Tally Software and prepare various reports and

statements from monthly Accounts of the concerned PEA and/or the SPMU. You will

be required to Prepare Vouchers, Financial Statements and Reports pertaining to

different PEAs and Project activities in timely manner.

2. You will also be required to update Financial records through Synchronization in

Tally at SPMU level, prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements, deposit statutory

deductions like TDS, P. Tax, Provident Fund, GST etc. within the stipulated period.

You have to prepare and maintain various registers and document like Fixed Asset

Register, Cheque register, E-5 enquiries, W-5 enquiries, Indent preparation,

Comparative Statements, Committee Proceeding, Preparation of Purchase Order,

preparation of Minutes of Meeting and similar works, as assigned to you from time to

time.

3. You will assist Project Director and other officers in preparation of various

statements, reports as per Financial and Procurement Manual of the project, Fund

Management and liaison with Bank, as and when required.

You will also update entries of financial transactions in Public Financial Management

System (PFMS), as and when required.

4. You will carry out the assignment in accordance with the highest standards of

professional competence and integrity, having due regards to the nature and purpose

of the assignment and will conduct yourself in a manner consistent herewith. You are

expected to conduct yourself in highest ethical manner and to help in making

environment conducive to working and learning in the Project office/sites/outstations

workings. Your conduct towards your colleague should be polite and courteous.

5. You will be reporting to Project Director, ICZM Project, West Bengal and to such

other officers/persons as would be instructed by the Project Director, ICZM Project.

You will be required to closely co-ordinate with Consultants and Contractors

working with the project.

6. Outstation working may be required and you should be ready to stay in the field/sites

and work from any offices/places within India in the interest of the Project. During

such visits/stay, you may be required to co-ordinate with consultants/contractorslPEA

officials/Local Public representatives and community members. The Project will be

executed in a mission mode and you may be required to work on Saturdays, Sundays,

holidays and beyond office hours.

7. The travel and other incidental expenses during field visits related to the project and

assignment will be reimbursed by the SPMU as per its own rules - either in actual or

at the prescribed rate whichever is lower.

8. During the period of engagement you are not permitted to accept any full time /part

time employment with any other agency or to engage in any other work, business,

and occupation. You may pursue any study course or apply for any other job only with

prior approval of the Project Director,ICZM Project, West Bengal.

9. All knowledge and information not within the public domain which may be acquired

during the carrying out of this assignment, shall be, for all time and for all purpose,

regarded as strictly confidential and held in confidence, and shall not be directly or

indirectly disclosed to any person whatsoever, except with the written permission of

the project authority.

All materials produced or acquired under the terms of engagement - Written, graphics,

films, magnetic tapes or other materials shall remain the property of SPMU,

Integrated Coastal Zone Management Project (ICZMP) West Bengal, Department of

Environment, Government of West Bengal. The appointee shall not have any right to

use such knowledge outside the engagement, without prior written permission of

Project authorities.

10. During the contract period, the employment can be terminated after issuance of one

month's notice from either side. The termination in the manner prescribed does not

cast any aspersion on the performance of the appointee.

11. The engagement as General Duty Attendent(Finance) is purely on contract basis and

you will not be entitled to any claims, rights, interests or further claims for any job or

further engagement/appointment in ICZM Project, West Bengal. The Project

Authority has no obligation to extend the engagement beyond the contract period

under any circumstances. This contract shall lapse on its own, at the end of this

contract period. No prior notice is required to be given by Project Authority in such

situation. The renewal of the contract, if any, will be at the sole discretion of the

Project Authority, ICZM Project, West Bengal.

12. Your consolidated remuneration will be Rs. 15,000/- (Fifteen Thousand only) per

month.

13. Any other condition/situation not covered under this offer shall be governed by the

instructions issued by Project Director, SPMU, ICZM Project from time to time. You

shall be bound by such conditions/instructions as if such conditions are part of this

offer letter.

14. You will be entitled for 3(Three)Days casual leave during this contract period. The

casual leave can only be availed with prior written permission from the Project

Authority.

15. Please note that your engagement as General Duty Attendent(Finance) and acceptance

of your joining report will be subject to:

1. Submission of Release Letter / Documents confirming acceptance of your

resignation, from your present assignment with your current Organisation.

11. Production of original educational certificates for verification with a set of

self attested photo copies.

Passport / Voter photo id / PAN Card and Aadhar Card with a set of self-

attested photo copy.

You are requested to join in the assignment on acceptance of above terms and conditions

within 30 (Thirty) days of issue of this memo and report to the office of State Project

Management Unit, ICZM Project, West Bengal, Institute of Environmental Studies & Wetland

Management, DD-24, Sector-I, Salt Lake, Kolkata 700 064. If you fail to report for joining, on or

before the above mentioned date, this offer shall be treated as cancelled.
