Bidders shall acknowledge the receipt of this Addendum on their bid form and all information and instructions given herein shall become a part of the Contract Documents.
General:
1. Only the successful bidder will be required to break out the following costs for the owner within 72 hours of the bid opening: (see attached revised Bid Form)
Office Addition and Link ASC
2. Remaining balances of the building permit review fee to be included in the bid:
Office Addition and Link $2,752.00 ASC $1,986.00
3. Demolition Contractor to include the demolition permit fee in the bid.
4. Impact Fees to be included in the bid: Office Addition and Link $46,349.93 ASC $59,515.56
5. Floodplain Fill Permit Fees to be included in the bid:
Office Addition and Link $412.80 ASC $297.90
6. The General Contractor will need to coordinate with the Owner’s modular wall
subcontractor for scheduling and installation of the modular wall system.
7. Contractor is to wait the recommended 60 days to allow newly placed fills to
settle prior to placing foundations in accordance with the recommendations of the geotechnical engineering report OR it will be acceptable to commence with construction if at 60 days following the completion of the placement of fill, any construction that has been completed be reviewed by the contractor and elevations shot so that adjustments to the structural elements that have been placed can be made if required. Examples would be the adjustment of leveling nuts at the column base plates, shimming the top of cold formed metal framed walls, etc.

VINYL PRIVACY SCREENS
PART 1 - GENERAL
1.01 RELATED DOCUMENTS
A. Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General and Supplementary Conditions and Division 1 Specification Sections, apply to this Section.
1.02 SUMMARY
A. This Section includes the following at exterior installations:
1. Vinyl privacy screens at the generator enclosure
B. Related Sections: The following Sections contain requirements that relate to this Section:
1. Division 3 Section "Cast-in-Place Concrete" for concrete for post footings and slab.
1.03 SUBMITTALS
A. General: Submit electronic (PDF) format submittals according to the Conditions of the Contract and Division 1 Specification Sections
B. Product Data in the form of manufacturer’s technical data, specifications, and installation instructions for posts, rails, board panels, caps and accessories.
C. Shop drawings showing location of railings and screens, each post, and details of post installation, hardware, and accessories.
1.04 QUALITY ASSURANCE
A. Single-Source Responsibility: Obtain railings, posts, board panels, including accessories, fittings, and fastenings, from a single source.
1.05 PROJECT CONDITIONS
A. Field Measurements: Verify layout information for railings and screens shown on the Drawings in relation to the structures. Verify dimensions by field measurements.
PART 2 - PRODUCTS
2.01 VINYL PRIVACY SCREENS
A. Vinyl Privacy Screens: Provide CertainTeed, or equal, “Bufftech” Norfolk 1 design, privacy screen, 72" high, with mid-rail. Provide steel reinforced 5" x 5" posts with vinyl finish, external post caps as detailed on Drawings, and 1 x 6 vinyl planks fence sections.
2.02 CONCRETE
A. Concrete: Provide concrete consisting of portland cement per ASTM C 150, aggregates per ASTM C 33, and potable water. Mix materials to obtain concrete with a minimum 28-day

compressive strength of 3000 psi. Use at least four sacks of cement per cu. yd., 1-inch maximum size aggregate, 3-inch maximum slump.
PART 3 - EXECUTION
3.01 INSTALLATION
A. General: Install fence to comply with latest printed instructions by the manufacturer.
B. Excavation: Drill or hand-excavate (using post-hole digger) holes for posts to diameters and spacings indicated, in firm, undisturbed or compacted soil.
C. Setting Posts: Center and align posts maintaining plumb. Check each post for vertical and top alignment and hold in position during placement of concrete footings and finishing operations.
D. Install fence level and plumb to elevations and dimensions shown.
