-IGO verbs

-go verbs are irregular because only the “yo” form of the verb ends in –go. The rest of the conjugations are either regular; or they can also be stem-changers

Ex) Tener (to have) yo tengoEx) Salir (to leave) yo salgoEx) Hacer ( to do / make) yo hago

The Verb TENERThe verb TENER, which means

“to have” follows the pattern of eie stem-changers

Yo tengo Nosotros tenemos Tú tienes Vosotros tenéis Él, Ella, Ud. tiene Ellos, Ellas, Uds. tienen

The Verb VENIRVENIR, which means “to come”

follows the pattern of eie stem-changers

Yo vengo Nosotros venimos Tú vienes Vosotros venís Él, Ella, Ud. viene Ellos, Ellas, Uds. vienen

The Verb DECIRDECIR, which means “to say / to

tell” follows the pattern of ei stem-changers

PONER, HACER, SALIR, CAER, OÍR, &TRAER

PONER (to put), HACER (to do/ to make), TRAER (to bring), CAER (to fall) and SALIR (to leave) are regular verbs in the present tense except for their yo forms. TRAER, CAER & OÍR are –igo verbs. OÍR (to hear) has an i => y change in all forms except yo, nosotros and vosotros.
