Open SolidWorks
Go to: Start > Programs > SolidWorks Open the file: Blueprint-Setup.prt
Go to: File > Save As Rename the file to: Middle_Seat

Import the deck surface of the Hull as interface surface
Go to: Insert > Part Go to the map where you’ve saved the Hull Open the file of the Hull.sldprt Uncheck all the options except the Surface bodies option
Click OK

Hide the BLUEPRINT_FRONTVIEW Select BLUEPRINT_FRONTVIEW in the feature tree and click on the glasses
Hide the BLUEPRINT_BACKVIEW Select BLUEPRINT_BACKVIEW in the feature tree and click on the glasses
Hide the BLUEPRINT_BOTTOMVIEW Select BLUEPRINT_BOTTOMVIEW in the feature tree and click on the glasses
NOTE: The Top Views of the yacht are 90 degrees rotated in order to have more space at the page. If you want to rotate your views as well you can use the arrow keys on your keyboard for this.

Select the blue surface and click on the 2D Sketch icon to make a new sketch

Switch to the Top View
Draw the lines as shown in the picture and blueprint
Add the dimensions as shown in the picture

Create an Extrude
Go to: Insert > Boss/Base > Extrude or click on the Extrude icon
Change the Depth to 35 mm Make sure that the extrusion is directed upwards. If not, click on the Reverse button to change the direction.
Click OK

Select the blue surface and click on the
2D Sketch icon to make a new sketch Click on the Normal To option to rotate the model to normal to the selected plane
Offset the edges of the blue surface
Select the blue surface again
Go to Tools > Sketch Tools > Offset Entities
or click on the Offset Entities icon
Change the Offset Distance to 20 mm
Click OK

Draw the horizontal line as shown in the right picture
Trim the upper part of the offset lines as shown in the pictures
Go to: Tools > Sketch Tools > Trim or click on the Trim icon Select the Power Trim option Click and drag the cursor over the upper part of the offset lines
Click OK

Create an Extrude
Go to: Insert > Boss/Base > Extrude or click on the Extrude icon
Change the Depth to 300 mm Make sure that the extrusion is directed upwards. If not, click on the Reverse button to change the direction.
Click OK

Create a new plane
Go to: Insert > Reference Geometry > Plane or click on the New Plane icon
First Reference : Select the pink surface as shown in the picture
Change the Offset Distance to: 5 mm Click OK

Create a new 2D sketch on the new Plane1 Select Plane1 in the Feature Manager
Click on the 2D Sketch icon to make a new sketch Draw the sketch in the same way as the previous sketch
as shown in the picture and detail

Create an Extrude

Create a new plane
Go to: Insert > Reference Geometry > Plane or click on the New Plane icon
First Reference : Select the pink surface as shown in the picture
Change the Offset Distance to: 5 mm Click OK

Go to: Insert > Features > Chamfer or click on the Chamfer icon
Select the blue edge as shown in the picture
Select the ‘’Distance distance’’ option
Change to 350 mm
Change to 100 mm
Click OK

Mirror the two main bodies of the Middle Seat Go to Insert > Pattern / Mirror > Mirror
or click on the Mirror icon
Select the blue surface as Mirror Face
Select the Bodies to Mirror option Select the two blue bodies as shown in the picture Select the Merge solids option Select the Knit surfaces option
Click OK

Mirror the two remaining bodies of the Middle Seat
Go to Insert > Pattern / Mirror > Mirror or click on the Mirror icon
Select the Mid Plane as Mirror Face
Select the Bodies to Mirror option Select the two blue bodies as shown in the picture

Create a Fillet
Go to: Insert > Features > Fillet/Round or click on the Fillet icon Click on the blue edges as shown in the picture
Change the Radius to 20 mm

Draw the corner rectangle as shown in the picture and blueprint
Add the dimensions as shown in the picture

Create an Extrude

Create an Extrude

Change the Offset Distance to 395 mm

Create an Extruded Cut
Go to: Insert > Cut > Extrude or click on the Extruded Cut icon
Change to 0.5 mm
Select the two pink contours as shown in the picture
Click OK

Hide the Deck Surface
Select the blue deck surface and click on the glasses to hide it

Create a Fillet
Go to: Insert > Features > Fillet/Round or click on the Fillet icon Click on the blue edges as shown in the picture
Change the Radius to 15 mm
Click OK

Create another Fillet

Change the colors of the middle seat
Click on the + icon before the Solid Bodies map in the Feature tree Select the blue body as shown in the feature tree picture
Click on the right mouse button and click on the appearances icon
Click on the Body option Change the color to white
Click OK

Change the color of the pillows
Click on the + icon before the Solid Bodies map in the Feature tree Select the six blue bodies as shown in the feature tree picture
Click on the right mouse button and click on the appearances icon
Click on the Body option Change the color to light grey
Click OK

Change the color of the table Select the first feature of the table in the feature tree (Boss-Extrude5), hold down the Shift key and select the last feature in the feature tree
Right click on the appearances button
Click on the Features option Change the color to a custom grey by changing the RGB numbers to 120, 120, 120
Click OK

Change the color of the tabletop
Hold down the Control key and select all the blue surfaces of the tabletop as shown in the picture
Right click on the appearances button
Click on the Face option Change the color to a custom light brown by changing the RGB numbers to 190, 169, 146
Click OK

Change the color of the blue tabletop surface
Select the blue surface of the tabletop as shown in the picture
